I have just started reading your book Selling Among Wolves and as I read it and soak in that wisdom I look forward to this series of information. I turned my company over to the Lord 3 1/2 years ago and it has been some ride ever since. I manage 45 sales people and we are on a journey that, right now, has me exhausted. My mind is overwhelmed as i do my best to be God’s steward of this business. I pray this series will help me put things in order and find some rest along the way. God bless you for accepting the plan God has for your life as you are certainly helping others know Him better.

Carla;

You have made a wise decision to turn your company over to the Lord and I quite understand it being a “ride”! You mentioned that you are exhausted right now from all the responsibility. I understand this.

Perhaps one of the best lessons I learned in that regard had to do with learning how to enter His rest as spoken of in Hebrews 4.

You see, in the Tabernacle of Moses spoken of in great detail in the Old Testament, there was an outer court illuminated by natural daylight, an inner court illuminated by a golden, oil burning light and the Holy of Holies, illuminated by God’s presence.

Those three places speak of three levels in our walk with God which can entirely be applied to business. Level 1 is the outer court and it’s where we rely in our natural skills and we compete with others on that level. In a manner of speaking, it is where we can get the 30 fold return.

Level 2 is where we rely on the leading of the Holy Spirit and the wisdom of Scripture to leverage our natural skills. In a manner of speaking, this is where we get the 60 fold return.

Level 3 has very little to do with us and very, very much to do with God. It is the place of amazing things that God will do in that place. I have too many experiences to share about this in this format, but if you are interested in this, you can study that in detail from 2 different CD series in our bookstore. One is called “Three Levels of Sales Acceleration” and the other is called, “The Rain Catcher’s Secret - 7 Ancient Paths to Wealth, Wisdom and the Wonder of God”.
