A Message of Gratitude and Hope

Thursday, December 21st, 2006

As Christmas is just days away, I wanted to take this opportunity to write you a personal note of gratitude. 2006 was, in many ways, a year of change for us as we discovered one of God’s living business models and began to apply what we saw with our own eyes to our business. We went from five years of maintaining a constant speed to having to triple our staff, triple the size of our office space (effective January 2nd) and experiencing explosive growth – all within a 90 day period!

Without the support and encouragement and response we have received, we would not be where we are today. Thank you for believing in what God is doing through me and caring enough about your family, this generation and God’s kingdom to invest in the tools to help you succeed in the marketplace.

As we head into 2007, I am helping to build a new ChristianBusinessCollege with a radically different approach to education. It actually prepares you to succeed with real world skills from a Biblical worldview and it’s for all ages. (If you know of any individuals who want to make a difference and a great income, while building something to last, please have them contact our office and I will connect them.)

The second week of January, we head for a few island nations in the Caribbean where I will be training an international insurance agency plus taking some time to visit the oldest protected rainforest in the world.

As word has gotten out about this rainforest as a business model concept, I have been getting booked to do wealth training around the country for 2007. Although I am glad to accept some of those invitations, my primary focus will be pouring everything I discover into you. It will be my high privilege and thrill to find ways to pass on the wealth to you and watch you succeed like never before in 2007.

Have a blessed Christmas and New Year!

What Testimony Does Your Work Proclaim?

Tuesday, December 19th, 2006

The credibility issue is big. People want to do business with credible people, but how do we establish credibility in the minds of others, especially strangers? Well, Jesus was faced with this issue… He had a product that seemed too good to be true… He healed people of incurable diseases, raised others from the dead, multiplied physical resources seemingly out of nothing, offered an eternity in a place called Heaven and yet, He didn’t charge for His services. He just gave and gave.

With all that giving going on, there were many skeptics trying to figure out what His game was, what His angle was. They were threatened by the presence of Truth. Others wanted to believe, but this was so different, even weird sounding… (Except you eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, you have no life in you.)

So Jesus offers four proof sources to quiet their fears. The first was a testimony from a trusted and respected leader, John the Baptist. Then he offers a second witness… “For the works which the Father has given Me to finish, the same works that I do bear witness of Me, that the Father has sent Me…” What kind of testimony does your work proclaim? Does your work ethic back up your claims? Does the work you have done end any questions about your workmanship or the quality of your service? Look at the way you work with people and make sure it lines up with the claims you make. If it does, you will silence many a critic.

Eliminate Doubt & Debt - Here’s How

Tuesday, December 19th, 2006

Never in our history have we had a reaction like the one we’ve had in the last few days! We have been literally swamped with demand! Just ask Cheryl (o-;

But why?

Yesterday, I began a series on the Four-Fold Witness that Jesus described in John 5. It was about establishing credibility within a skeptical world. I don’t teach anything we haven’t practiced. Theory doesn’t impress me the way results do. Here’s what happened…

Last week, we sent out an email about our new release, “7 Wealth Secrets of the Rainforest”. In that email, we made an unprecedented offer for a FREE teleseminar where anyone ordering the product can join us with their questions or experiences on that call. It will be held in early 2007. It’s a chance to work together on some ideas for accomplishing big goals for 2007 and I wanted to invite you.

I had hoped for about 50 responses and planned accordingly. That would have been a strong response for us. But we quickly overbooked that event, so we have tripled our capacity and even at that, we don’t have many spots left.

The program itself is endorsed by Success Magazine and a soon to be built ChristianBusinessCollege stated, “These concepts have helped us increase our endowment by millions of dollars in just a few months!

So if you want to get in on this limited offer and be part of the free coaching session we will be doing early in 2007, reserve your spot now by clicking on the link below and placing your order. I will be sharing specifics on how to apply these secrets that have already made a huge difference for us and how you can apply them too. Get ready to eliminate doubt and debt in 2007!

Establishing Credibility With The Four-Fold Witness

Monday, December 18th, 2006

How do we establish credibility in the marketplace, especially in the midst of skeptics, detractors and con artists? You know what I’m talking about… You have a valid product or service, but the world is not beating a path to your door and when you do get an audience with them, they’re not overly receptive. They are naturally skeptical. How do you overcome that?

The good news is that Jesus entered a world with those very issues and He addressed the credibility question head on. You can read about it in John 5:31–39. First of all, He acknowledges, “If I bear witness of Myself, My witness is not true…” Now obviously, He wasn’t suggesting He’d be lying but rather that the skeptic might advance that argument. So even though His word is absolute and beyond contestation, He puts forth four other sources that irrevocably testify to the truth.

The first one was John the Baptist… “You sent unto John, and he bore witness unto the truth… But I have greater witness than that of John” John is an example of a respected leader who provides a testimony. To begin to build credibility, ask those who have experienced your product or service if they would provide a letter of reference. The better known and more respected the person or company writing the letter, the stronger the credibility.

To my amazement, very few people really take advantage of this strategy. Obtain as many testimonials from as many reputable persons as you can because most people don’t want to be guinea pigs. They want to know who else can vouch for you so they don’t have to take the risk. Watch for the next blog as we continue with the three other witnesses.

Where Fortune 500 Companies Get 20% of Revenues

Friday, December 8th, 2006

One of the most powerful lessons I learned in the rainforest was from the Brazil Nut Tree. This amazing tree grows to 200 feet or more and lives 500 – 800 years. It is hugely abundant with Brazil nuts which grow in a pod the size of a cannon ball, each containing maybe 30 Brazil nuts.

Now this tree has one ambition in life and that is to expand its territory, but it has one serious limitation. It has no legs and the pods that contain the nuts are too tough for anything to chew through to release them - Anything, except a rat-like critter known as an Agouti. This critter has plenty of legs and mobility, but lacks the energy it finds only in the Brazil nut.

So here’s the deal… they trade… They give each other what they have in abundance for what they really want most and both parties benefit greatly. The tree feeds the agouti and the agouti opens the pod and buries the nuts throughout the rainforest, ensuring its survival. It’s called a symbiotic relationship when two parties mutually benefit from helping each other; it’s called a mutualistic relationship when those two parties survival depends on each other.

As I began praying about how to adapt the way God makes the rainforest work to business, I started looking for symbiotic and mutualistic relationships. So far, the result has been outstanding. In one case, I traded knowledge and ideas for exposure that would have cost me over $60,000. In another case, I traded information in digital form for access to a group I could not reach in any other way - Access that will grow our business substantially. By the way, 20% of all Fortune 500 revenues come from applying this secret.

TOMORROW, we are releasing the most anticipated teaching series in our history (7 Wealth Secrets of the Rainforest). It talks about 3 rainforest relationships that can rocket your business and one to avoid at all costs. Those who have heard it, say it will be the one we will be remembered for. Turn Your Dreams into Reality

Thursday, December 7th, 2006

Yesterday, I told you about how to gain incredible effectiveness in something I call the “Nectar Sector”. It’s where you use one or more methods adapted from the rainforest for setting up a “no-pest zone” to quintuple your output in very short order.

Today, I want to share another invaluable lesson from the rainforest that can make your business take off like never before. God made the rainforest and He reveals His nature and power in the things He has made (Rom 1:20). Solomon used things like trees and birds to pass on wealth secrets to the kings of the earth. (I Kings 4)

In the rainforest, there is tremendous competition for the light. In fact, only 2% of the sunlight ever reaches the ground. Plants spend more of their resources to place their leaves in the light than they actually spend producing the leaf in the first place. Light is analogous to vision. If you want to succeed in your endeavor, you will need to have clear, unambiguous vision. You will also have to invest more time making sure the team is in tune with the vision than you will in picking the team!

Although light is about vision, it also enables photosynthesis which is the process of converting light energy (vision), water (information) and animal respiration (effort) into something tangible like a tree (business) that thrives. In short, trees convert inspiration or vision into innovation. The process they use when adapted to business will propel you like nothing else.

On Tuesday, December 12th, we are releasing the most anticipated teaching series in our history (7 Wealth Secrets of the Rainforest). Those who have heard it say it will be the one we will be remembered for. Among other things, you will learn how to transform great ideas into tangible realities that meet the needs of others while providing very well for you. Don’t miss your email on Tuesday. We will make you an offer you won’t want to turn down.

“No-Pest Zone” Coming on Tuesday, December 12

Wednesday, December 6th, 2006

Nearly 2 years ago, I ventured into the Panamanian Rainforest. While drinking in the incredibly fresh air, inhaling exotic scents from rare orchids and watching howler monkeys scrambling overhead in the canopy, it began to sink in…

“Everything you need to learn about business, you can learn in the rainforest”. That’s what God spoke to my heart on my first trip to Panama and I have spent the best part of the last two years searching this out. You see, working with limited topsoil, rainforests are the most productive, fruitful and diverse ecosystems in the world. How they transform scarcity into abundance is what every business needs to know.

As we walked through the dense rainforest guided by a scientist from the world headquarters of the Smithsonian Institute for Tropical Research, I was told there are only two things that threaten the productivity of a rainforest tree: Pests & Pathogens. Intrigued by that, I gained access to over 400 scientific white papers on the rainforest, several of them dealing with this fact. What I learned shook me to the core.

Plants that were protected from pests grew 10 times faster and in only twenty months were already 5 ½ times larger than the same species which were unprotected. I began to study the seven ways plants protect themselves from pests and realized by applying similar concepts in business, I could become 10 times more effective with my time and have less stress in the process.

On Tuesday, December 12th, we are releasing the most anticipated teaching series we have ever done (7 Wealth Secrets of the Rainforest). In just one of those secrets, you will learn how to greatly increase productivity with far less stress. We will make our own subscribers a special offer on that day. You won’t want to miss it!

Share Your Passion in a Searching Marketplace

Tuesday, December 5th, 2006

The apostle Paul exhorts us to walk worthy of the vocation wherewith we were called. Did you know that being called into the marketplace was a worthy vocation where you are more likely to reach people than at church on Sunday? Most of them are not planning on being in church on Sunday to hear the good news, so how do we reach them?

Evangelism is simply a transference of passion; a passion for Jesus. Do you have that passion? If you don’t, you might need to pursue Him for awhile, before you pursue others. Assuming you have that passion, look to see where God is working and join Him. By that I mean, look for those who are looking for love in all the wrong places. Look for those whose life is not making sense to them right now. Look for those who are hurting, questioning, searching. They are everywhere. In fact, I am convinced that God is calling our generation back to Himself.

There is a restlessness in their hearts and they are searching for the Kingdom of God, but don’t know it. They are blind and need the benefit of your vision. They cannot find their way to you or to God. They hear Him calling, but cannot see Him. They are everywhere in the marketplace. Take your vocation as a calling and lead people to the One who restores sight and gives vision.

Your Vocation Can Truly Be Your Calling

Friday, December 1st, 2006

Most of us thought that if God had a calling on our life it must be as a pastor, missionary or an evangelist, but I am here to tell you that most of us have been called to a vocation. That vocation, for most of us, is right in the middle of a very large mission field called the marketplace.

Recently, I was with a client and prayed that as we went about our business, others would notice the Spirit of God on our lives and want to have that for themselves. When we were having dinner at the airport, a lady who had been overhearing our conversation, interrupted us and said, “I’ve been eavesdropping a bit; would you please tell me how I can become a Christian?”

We were both a little surprised, at first, but soon found out how serious she was and invited her to join our table. After listening to her story and sharing the love of the Father with her, she was eager to pray right there in Ruby Tuesday’s! God is truly awesome and He is calling people to himself right there in the marketplace. Our vocations are convenient locations from which we can reach out to the unchurched and disenfranchised with the hope that is within us! Truly our vocation can be a holy calling!
