Michael,
Excellent! I want to apply this to making a large sale by faith believing that God will do exceedingly abundantly more than all we ask or imagine. In my BD role I feel lost sometimes, chasing the wind. I work on large IT Programs with long sales cycles targetted at the Federal Gov't. The payoff can be large but the process can be draining.

You said it so clearly. Our actions display our deepest beliefs and inspire or disappoint.
Hebrews 11:1 says we are to be "sure of what we hope for and CERTAIN of what we do not see. So i set this as my true north; a call for excellance in the true sense of the Word. What a relief! This isn't my burden.

Michael, now you're getting personal!!! : )

As James says "Faith without works is dead...I'll show you my faith by what I do."

While this can and should be in how we treat others and live the gospel out, it also is directly related in how we live out of faith in God's ability to do what He says He will do.

I'm currently reading John Eldredge's "Waking the Dead". THe reading today was directly connected to this post. We can have all the right doctrine, programs, tools... and never tap into that personal relationship with Christ that changes our life.

All to often we are too busy looking good (like the roses) to stop and listen to His voice (that which gives life). We can miss out on the greatness that God has in store for us because we are to busy being Christians and not busy enough listen to and trusting God.

Or, we move ahead without truely discerning God's will for our life or situation.

Thansk for being a part of God's message to me today.

I can attest to the fact that head faith (not real faith) and faith that believes will change all of our lives. It is the one thing I am ready to grasp and walk in. That is why we are here isn't it ... to walk by faith, believing what Jesus said is true enough so we can walk in it and get the same results and do more of what he did and go beyond.

Len have confidence because God's word is true. You can move mountains and all things are possible with Him!

I'm curious, would you consider a new challenge that doesn't have such a long cycle with good rewards? What part of the country do you live? Maybe God has a connection for you.

I am going through this situation right now as I am now in between jobs. Due to several instances of situations where I would either have to compromise my relationship with Jesus or leave, I chose the latter. Indeed, I am taking a leap of faith!!! Thankfully, I will get my bonus for the hard work I did in 2006 (the company changed its bonus payment policy in my case). My manager was kind enough to let me continue to use the company vehicle and laptop to search for a new job. With over 12 years' sales and account management experience and an honorable discharge from the US Air Force, I believe the Lord will honor my stand for Him and will deliver me. I expect (not demand) in faith that 2007 will be an awesome year in my career! Keep me in your prayers if and when He brings my situation to your mind.
Thanks!

Faith?
My faith?
The Faith of Christ in me !
God moves mountains. You wouldnt even want to try.Believe in a God who can,who will for the sake of the elect.
Like Saul to Paul on the Road to Damascus from persecuting the infant christians who were hiding from the raging Saul's intentions.(here these new christians wanted a mountain moved,God changed the montain to a meteor).
Whose faith?Like a dog hanging on to his bone , God will come through for them(for you) that wait on him in faith.
Thats the faith of Christ in you,Faith in his word,Faith in his promise,Faith in a God who doesnt change.(Many time times not instant change (like instant coffee) as we would want.)As someone joked-You dont know the trouble God took to place that mountain that you want moved into the sea.
If you had mountains and tried to move them and it didnt move.Check you faith focus,Your faith or faith in a God who said if you have faith(in ME) as a mustard seed can move mountains.

When Job had his situations ,all he did was worshipped God.Thats faith. No matter what. When Saul and Silas was in prision.they sang.Thats faith.
When Christ on the cross, cried Father forgive them.now thats faith !Abrahamhad to wait another span of time since God's promise.Moses had to wait 3 span of 40 yrs each ,for the events we see.Claeb said Joshua Give me the land which we saw .My strength is just the same as when we went to spy out the land, and I an able by the strength that God enables to fight and take it.thats faith

Check your faith.
Let the Spirit have His way in you.

This is the very scripture "mountain moving faith as a grain of mustard seed" that I have been studying. The mustard seed is the smallest seed but grows into a big, strong tree! That is the faith we need!
