Make All the Money You Can

May 18th, 2007 | Michael Pink

I sit on the board of what will be a whole new type of Business College. It will impact this generation and the ones to follow, should the Lord tarry. We will equip men and women with godly business skills to take back the gates of commerce and from there, take back the other strongholds of influence in our culture (media, arts, judiciary, government, education).

The business college is a massive undertaking. Bake sales and car washes aren’t going to cover the bill. So who’s going to put up the money for this? We need $100 million for the start up and $1 billion for the roll out internationally. But guess what? We have a business model to fund this project and are well on our way. We could never conceive of such a project with a wartime, “barely get by” mentality.

Instead of asking people for money, we are funding this project by providing significant value to corporate America and they are turning loose of significant assets to get the value we provide. It’s innovative. It’s effective. And we intend to do as many transactions as God will allow. We’re not greedy. We just have a big vision and that requires big provision. No apologies there.

I am passionate about winning big in business, because there is so much we can do with the resources. Changing the world, being one of them. So how about you? Want to change the world? If you are called to business, then go out and make all the money you can. Enjoy the fruit of your labor, but do something meaningful with it as well or your only reward will be a few years of comfort in this life. Ask God to plant His desires in your heart and then go out and make a difference. The eternal rewards are worth it!

    Hi Michael,

I pray that God’s anointing will be on you and your team as you work through this worthwhile project.

Utilising the business resources God has given us is such a strategic ministry.

I am based in India doing similar work. Would love to hear more on your plans in this regard.

    Warmly and with prayer
    Tony

What is meant that you are providing significant value to corporate America? (in order to fund the project)

How wonderful is this dream and how so much needed. I have been in churches who have stopped short of spitting on anyone who is in business. that have made business people feel bad and not encouraging to walk in the fullness of the Fathers blessings.

How many times has the church said to business men and women who have a special love to the Father that they should consider leaving the corporate world and go to the church to minister - such wrong teaching. It is actually has its roots in the spirit of religion.

If there is anything that I can do, please let me know to help this endeavour.

    God Bless

I do systems consulting for fundraising offices and nonprofits. I do a lot of colleges & universities, but have also assisted the EFCA and The Salvation Army. If I could help this organization select/implement a system for their alumni & fundraising & accounting operations it would be a privilege and a blessing.

    Regards,
    Charlie

I’m excited by today’s post and encouraged to see fellow believers implementing their business expertise and innovative processes to generate revenue (as opposed to asking for donations). Tell us more!

    Michael,

Attention to detail. Don’t forget the resources you have available right here.

They may be small, but it’s those small things that seem to hang everyone up the most.

If there is any promotional material or products needed please call on my company.

    Michael,
Please drop me a line with your email and/or phone number. I would like to learn more. This college may or may/not be necessary. There are a lot of good ones out there with a similar heart for Christ (Kings, Liberty, Grove City etc.)

I founded SAP University in 1993. It does $400 million annually teaching business execs, IT types, and project managers. I would love to use my skills for Kingdom work instead someday. Perhaps I could be of assistance.

Another good book to read regarding this topic “The Money is in the Mantle”. The book deals with God returning HIS wealth back to his people.
