Healed @ Work Conference

June 14th, 2007 | Michael Q. Pink

This week, I have had several messages about “healing.” People in sales can often carry emotional hurts and wounds from past work experiences and relationships. These wounds can hinder them from maximizing the fruit and harvest of their current jobs and careers–until they allow God to bring healing. A long-time friend and co-laborer in the Faith at Work movement responded to my emails this week, and made me aware of the first-ever “Healed @ Work Conference” on October 18-20, 2007 in historic Sturbridge, Massachusetts. I invite you to visit http://www.healedatwork.org/ for details, and prayerfully consider registering.

    Micheal,

it is a bout time the church began to recognize the ministry of healing and especially in the workplace. I would also encourage you to point out a ministry in Florida called Ellel Ministries. I have been attending their school for healing here in Minneapolis. They have intense hands-on healing reteats in Florida as well. www.ellelministries.org/usa/

I know many people that have been healed of all kinds of disease and emotional hurt from these retreats.

Father, I pray that we will understand and live in a way where our
fruit comes easily and naturally from the root to the bud. May we be
rooted and grounded in love, with the Holy Spirit filling us to
overflowing so that we can love as You have first loved us. To love
with all our mind, strength and even our hearts means not to
governed by our emotions but by our wills, our decisive choices led
by Your Word and Your Spirit. I pray that all the fruit of the
Spirit including love will be seen more and more in us. If now they
are small buds I pray for an abundant harvest of fruit. Help us to
be fruitful fields for You. In Jesus’ name, Amen

People in the church can pray to the cows come home but if they do not daily get before Jesus and get a dose of Grace(Power of God) they will stay broken. It is so true. If I haven’t had my praise and worship 30-45mins and 15-20mins of reading the word of God I would not be worth a flip to broken people that call my company daily!

The more time I spend with Jesus daily the better my sales do! I deal with people everyday that need hope and when I spend that time with Jesus and can give them that hope that flows from my spirit but if I don’t. I don’t even feel like getting on the phone sometimes. Because I know they need Jesus and that hope and how can I minister with Hope and Love if I haven’t spent time with Hope & Love himself that day!

The Joy of the Lord is my strength! Not only should reading your bible be daily as mentioned in Joshua 1:8 to have success but… Praise and worship is key to entering God’s presence and should be done daily as well! Give God joy daily just multplies it back to you.

    Your Brother in Christ,
    Bradley Young
