You said there are 10 times as many stars as grains of sand. Wow. It brought me back to Genesis. God spoke to Abraham twice about His covenant promise to make his seed into many nations. First He said Abe look down, "your seed will be as plentiful as the sand of the sea". The second time He said Abe look up. "Your seed will be as the stars of the sky" God was not saying the same thing two different ways. He was making two distinct covenants with Abraham. The sand of the sea represents His covenant with the Jews, God's flesh and blood people.
