A very good article. It should be an eye opener for all considering the "bad" things going on ...self-made by man.

But thanks God there is always at least 1 door which is wide open inviting us to step in.

One is also this place.
Thanks,

Thanks again for demonstrating God’s loving presence and glory in our everyday lives! While John 5:19 is revealing (as applied to this particular post) - a more in-depth testimony on this topic can be found in Exodus Chapters 35 - 40.

Within those passages we find God’s precise instructions to Moses on how to construct the Tabernacle, Ark of the Covenant, clothing of the Priests, placement of altars, etc.

These passages resonate within my Christian business practicality as a General Manager of a national service firm that must adhere to myriad federal, state and local statutory compliance issues - as well as obedience to our Fathers will in our business affairs.

Jesus constantly referred to nature in his parables - sparrows, ants, mustard seed, farming, etc. To me, I see God's presence in the everyday world and am grateful that the Counselor has led me to appreciate his gifts that we often take for granted.

Thanks again for your insight and witness of God's desire to be involved in our corporate lives.

Hello, I am Neill Newton - CEO - Global Flying Hospitals www.gfhospitals.org neillnewton@gmail.com

Michael Pink, as always, is so correct. however, when I was reading this article I kept thinking of "sour grapes". Many grape vines produce sour grapes as well, that are not suitable for making fine wine. They are probably the ones used to make raisins or cattle feed. What I see as the core of all this is his keyword; "systems". If we have the correct systems planted, and fine tuned, we will have an abundance of good grapes, or as this relates in business; clients, sales and profit!

Reading his message, it hit me hard that in our business (humanitarian medical charity that requires solid fundraising) , we need to do some more pruning and replanting, to get more efficient systems in place.

Once again - great stuff Michael!

John 5:19 quoted by Paul just struck me as well, to me this means Jesus paid attention to nature's details which we unfortunatley ignore. The Bible says all creation shows the glory of God and for us to notice the glory of God we need to pay attention to nature's detail and see God therein.

Even in Business we need to pay attention the deatails of those very basic events and daily chores like filing an advert or arranging the office desk; inthe ultimate picture we will see our wine from water, our boom from recession, our profit from loss.

What people care to know is the name of a beautifull tree and where it is found but never cares to know the processes of getting it so green, so tall, so barky, so shady: there is an orderly arrangement to all that. Jehovah is God, His principles apply unreservedly in all the affairs of man. Who thought water turned into wine can be preached in business.

Paul;

I so appreciate your comment today. Did you know that when Jesus said, "For God so loved the world...", that the Greek word for "world" is cosmos, which literally means, "orderly arrangement". Check it out in the concordance some time. Blessings.

GLORY GLORY GLORY!!
Yes, process is incredibly important. In business, ministry, family, etc.. With no process there is only chaos.

But what's more awesome is you mentioning the water to wine miracle. This is clearly a demonstration of Jesus KNOWING who He was. And He also knew He had power and authority over nature.

Check this out..... this verse just took on a whole new revelation for me.

John 5:19 - Therefore Jesus answered and was saying to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, unless it is something He sees the Father doing; for whatever the Father does, these things the Son also does in like manner. The things I see my Father do, I do.

Jesus had the insight and wisdom as a man to see photosynthesis take place and understand that He was capable or doing the same.
