Quick Reminder: Tonight’s Teleseminar

Tuesday, September 11th, 2007

Hello Friend,

The ChristianBusinessDaily.com Teleseminar series is now in full swing. I would hate for you to miss tonight’s event with Harvey Hook. Harvey is the Executive Director of “The Gathering,” an organization that addresses the moral, spiritual, ethical, leadership and character development needs of businesspeople.

Harvey has just written a brand-new book entitled, The Power of an Ordinary Life. As a believer functioning in the business world, you’ll be challenged, strengthened, and encouraged by what he has to share with us on tonight’s live event.

Check out all the details here.

Blessings,

Michael

The Unseen World Runs on Systems

Monday, September 10th, 2007

“Put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the wiles (schemes) of the devil.” The Greek word for wiles is “methodeia”, from which we get our English word, method. Understand this; the devil has a method for your madness. He has a method, a scheme… if you will - a system in place to trip you up and frustrate the purposes of God for your life. The devil uses “systems” to defeat you. That way, he doesn’t have to personally supervise you’re actions. He just sets the system in place, gets you deeply ingrained in the system and leaves you struggling the rest of your life with that system. It might be the way you interpret failure or silence or compliments. It could be the way you react to a wrong or a right, etc. The point is that he uses systems to defeat

Quick Reminder: Last Chance to Help Out!

Friday, September 7th, 2007

Hello Friend,

Hopefully you saw my recent message about our storage crisis. So many of our faithful subscribers have responded — for which I am truly grateful — and are getting ready to use their cases of the bestselling book The Bible Incorporated - in Your Life, Job & Business as a fundraiser for groups and ministry projects, as a gift for treasured clients and friends, or as a simple way to add some extra profits to their bottom line.

Here’s the deal: we have to provide the addresses to the printer on Monday the 10th. This means that we have to receive your order before then in order to have your case(s) drop-shipped directly to you instead of coming to our space-challenged office. Today’s the last business day you have to respond (although our website will accept orders all weekend).

Some of you were giving this some thought before responding, so I just wanted to thank you for considering it and also send a little gentle reminder that you’re almost out of time!

Click here to help me out and possibly put as much as $2,226 in profits to your bottom line!

Thanks again,

Michael

P.S. If this isn’t familiar to you, then you can read the entire story here.

Eliminate the Unnecessary

Friday, September 7th, 2007

Rainforests have a job. In a very pragmatic sense, they are the lungs of the planet. They breathe in the excess carbon and exhale much needed oxygen and they are very, very good at their job. In fact, the rainforest is perhaps the most efficient system on the planet, making the most out of a little and wasting almost nothing.

Want to be more efficient? I am going to share the first in a series of four rainforest strategies that speak to personal productivity issues. Most people I know struggle to get a full day of productivity from the time they’ve allotted for that productivity. Parkinson’s Law kicks in and work expands to fill the time allotted. But you can change that.

Adversity and Opportunity are Joined at the Hip

Thursday, September 6th, 2007

I don’t want to leave the topic of adversity without sharing with you a very positive perspective. I have learned that adversity and opportunity are always - not most of the time - but always, joined at the hip! No matter what the circumstance, there is always something of high value that can be gained from it. The greater the adversity, the greater the opportunity.

When you find yourself in the grip of adversity, count it all joy knowing this, that the trying of your faith works patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that you may be perfect and entire, lacking in nothing. (James 1:4) The end result of adversity can be sweet fruit indeed.

Your Invitation to: “Transforming the Marketplace”

Wednesday, September 5th, 2007

Hello Friend,

Many of you have been wondering (based upon numerous blog comments and e-mails) about creative ways for us — as Christians in the business world — to connect with one another and make a real difference. Common themes in the requests we’ve received have been community, networking, discussion, and more access to information.

Please consider this your invitation to a special teleseminar that I’m conducting with Jeremy Harrison tomorrow night. Jeremy is the online director for ChristianBusinessDaily.com. He and I have some exciting things to share with you that will help fill the void while providing ways for you to be involved in bringing transformation to your business community.

See all the details here.

This is a FREE event. However, you must register for it in order to participate live. Register today, and we’ll enter you in the drawing for a couple of great prizes we’ll give away at the event.

Blessings,

Michael

P.S. The prizes will be great, but the main reason to be there will be for the content. Can we we include you?

Beat The Rush – Fear God Now!

Tuesday, September 4th, 2007

I left off last time saying I would address the fact that if adversity is a test to reveal our strengths and weaknesses, then how can we prepare for the test so we can pass it and not be numbered among the ones Scripture declares as being small in strength (Prov 24:10)?

Well, to answer that question, let me ask you something… What do you do when a storm of adversity comes? Do you pray? Fast? Search the Scriptures? Get Godly counsel? Get in fellowship with other believers? All these are good things, but when the storm hits, it’s not the time to start putting a roof on your house so to speak.
