I thank God everyday! I truly believe that God see us through. I have hadso mant obstacles in my life where I went through but God brought me out as pure gold. My hhusband and I are going through a financial situation now with our house and it has been up for foreclosure. God blocked the foreclosure and it was canceled. I know it was God. Pray for my family that God willbless us financial.

I agree with you 100%. Thanks for the messsage. God seems to reinforce again and again the fact that we learn best when we go through difficulties and troubles. That way we learn to appreciate our circumstances and at least try and see what God is accomplishing in our lives. This is what I call gold nuggets of God's ways. Very enlightening. Thank you!

Thank you so much for this Word. It has been such a blessing to me. The organization where I work is eliminating jobs now and it appears that they are coming for mine, however, God said for me to put my trust in Him and not in man, not in a job. God is totally in control whether I keep my job or have to move on.

I am 60 years old, so it is difficult for me to think about getting another job at my age, but God is my provider, He said to just trust Him. I have to trust Him whether I continue with this organization or not. I have been with them for 22 years and this is the second time they are doing this. The first time shame on them, the second time shame on me. However, I will wait on God and allow Him to make my crooked path straight. I will allow God to make for me a smooth transition into another job or into retirement.

Thank you so much for an on time Word.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family

God bless you

Michael

Appreciate your words - the Lord has told us that His ways are higher than our ways (Is 55:9). What an inspiration to get our eyes off of ourselves and our circumstances and simply believe God. We can all rejoice and thank God for making our paths straight.

Thanks for the encouraging words.

Jesus bless you

Bless you Michael, for this lesson of walking a straight line, I am praying for God to help me walk through some walls now, praying that I may mature into a daughtership with God, and accomplish what he has me here on earth to do. Pray for me I need a healing touch in my body.
God bless you

Thank you for that Michael. He has not finished with any of us yet but He has promised that He will complete the work He has begun in us up until the day of Christ Jesus. Along the way we stumble and make many mistakes, the places are certainly very crooked at times. However He wants us to trust Him and walk in the Spirit daily. Letting go of control of our lives is something most of us find hard to do as we've been used to being in the driving seat.
Please pray that I will not leave this mortal plane until I have completed that work for which He sent me here to accomplish!

Good post (Staright Paths). What occured to me while reading this: Adam was to go out into the earth and wherever he went he would "subdue", Kabash - impose the the condition of the Heavenly substance he carried and emitted, on the existing condition of, the earth. He would not have learned how, nor had the ability to do what he was supposed to, by difficult circumstances, crooked, difficult, roads. He would have learned it purely within his close relationship with his Father... by hanging out regularly. Then, wherever he stepped, the light emitting from him would always be stronger than the darkness he encountered, and would change the surroundings, automatically. Yes, God can and most likely uses any, and every, thing we encounter in the context of our transformation... in the midst of this broken world. But, it's IN CONTEXT, not by design. He never intended Adam to "fall". Man was designed to live fully in the original context, complete, "good", and live forever in the earth, not heaven. "Going to Heaven" only has it's place because we do not know how to live in the fullness of what Jesus purchased back for us, the original condition and commission of Adam. Jesus became Adam again ("the second Adam") to successfully inject the full DNA of God's original intent back into the earth again, so that WE could now "walk in it". But, the condition of the Western church, particularly, is not conducive, yet, to walking in grace, "God's ability". Until the Holy Spirit has full sway to direct it, we will walk in tradition and a "smoky" version of the truth... playing fraternity and religion. The Body has to become "organic" and truely functional, not organizational and structural (legal), for that sort of "flow" and harmony (unity) to happen sufficiently for the Father to hear the sort of passion from the Bride necessary for Him to then say, "Ah, it's time! Jesus, go get your Bride!" Learning our true Identity as "Sons", not sheep, will make all the difference, functionally, productively, in terms of Worshipping with true passion. Until then, we will keep "playing" at "church". Selah!

Sharon:

After reading your blog, I prayed that you will get a job soon that will glorfify God in the marketplace or where He calls you. Since I am also in between full-time jobs (I currently teach part-time at a local community college), I know what it's like to be without a full-time job.

Would the great news of a new full-time job be a wonderful Christmas present for the both of us and others who are in the same situation?

He is certainly able to do exceedingly and abundantly beyond what we ask Him to do on our behalf!
