Unlock the Secrets of Creating Wealth
And Harness the Power of Money to Influence Everything

RICH CHURCH - POOR CHURCH

A Candid Look at Christian Wealth Building

(AN URGENT MUST-READ FOR EVERY BELIEVER – PLEASE FORWARD TO YOUR FRIENDS)

Michael Q. PinkWhy do the Heathen Prosper?

Because they want to and are not conflicted about it! While the Church debates the entire subject of whether Christians can or should prosper, and if so, then how much is appropriate and what is too much, the rest of the world is not so conflicted and thus control most of the planet’s resources. We think it’s about the car we drive, the home we live in, the clothes we wear, etc. How small minded we have been to have focused on some of the trappings of wealth, while ignoring the larger purpose of wealth which is to establish His covenant. (Deuteronomy 8:18)

The Power to Create Wealth is to Establish the Covenant

If we are Christ’s, then we are Abraham’s seed and heirs according to the promise. God still wants to see His covenant established in our lives, but that won’t happen if we neglect it, are ignorant of it or simply don’t believe or understand it. So here’s a quick overview of the sevenfold promise to us through Abraham. Think of them as opportunities waiting for us to act upon. Allow me to give a 21st-century application to the promises so we can begin to enter into them…

The 7-Fold Promise in the Abrahamic Covenant

  1. “You shall be the father of many nations”: This speaks of creative ability. The ability to create multiple lasting enterprises. This is applied creative ability and those with that gift can change the world. It takes money to turn creativity into a lasting enterprise.
  2. “Your name shall be Abraham”: This speaks of greatly enlarged vision. By changing Abram’s name which meant “high, exalted father” to Abraham, meaning “father of a multitude”, God greatly enlarged his vision. Visionaries will lead the future. It takes money to fund your vision.
  3. “I will make you exceedingly fruitful”: This speaks of abundance. Fruitfulness is self-replicating abundance produced without undue strain but rather by the blessing of God. It takes money to plant that first crop, to open that first office, to publish that first book, etc.
  4. “I will make nations of you”: This speaks of strength. God will equip us with strength that comes from that which every joint supplies in the community of believers we call the Body of Christ. It takes money to form the infrastructure that ties a community together. It takes money to build a community.
  5. “Kings will come from you”: This speaks of leadership and authority. Kings go to war to capture territory or defend what they already have. It takes money to wage war and capture market share.
  6. “I will give to you and to your posterity after you, the land”: This speaks of ownership, wealth. He who controls the land, controls what’s on it. It takes money to acquire land and determine what is allowed to flourish there, whether good or evil.
  7. “I will be their God”: This speaks of lordship. God is our protector, our Lord and our Father. As our Lord, he requires us to be generous, to give to others, to help widows and orphans, support ministries, etc. That also requires money.

Do You Get it Yet?

The purpose of wealth is so we can be like the tree planted by the river, giving fruit in due season and where the fowls of the air find shelter. God wants us to be the head and not the tail, providing shelter to those in need and leadership in everything pertaining to life and godliness. It’s the enemy of our soul that wants us broke and without influence. He would prefer us to bow the knee to him and find shelter under his shade, remain under his sway and not challenge him for control of the planet’s resources. Who are you going to bow to? Make no mistake. This is not about personal possessions as he would have you believe. It’s about influence and who controls the gates or mind molders of the nation. He who controls the gates, controls the city!

No One Understands This Better Than the Jewish People…

Of all the people groups in the world, perhaps none is less conflicted about wealth and influence than the Jewish people. In October 2007, the Jerusalem Post published details of a study done by Vanity Fair which lists “the world’s most powerful people.” According to the publication, “…the top 100 consisted of the bankers and media moguls, publishers and image makers who shape the lives of billions. It’s an exclusive, insular club, one whose influence stretches around the globe but is concentrated strategically in the highest corridors of power.”; 51 of Vanity Fair’s top 100 list are Jewish.

We live in a world where Christians outnumber Jews 400 to 1, yet they occupy 51% of the top 100 most powerful positions on the planet. I believe it is safe to say that we have plenty to learn from the olive tree into which we were grafted and we could start by knowing the covenant and walking it out here and now.

A Seed Change is Coming

It’s time for Christians to regain some of the ground we have vacated and start building schools and colleges that teach economics and finance from a Biblical worldview. It’s time for Christians to stop complaining about the bias in media and starting owning the media! What if we flooded the world with excellent movies like The Passion of the Christ or Facing the Giants instead of complaining about the flood of filth now engulfing society? What if we owned the land? We would have say over what gets built there. But for the most part, we are the tenants, the tail, the beggars in the land. And it’s time for that to change! Poverty is a curse, not a blessing. It’s not so much an outer condition but rather an inner condition fortified by fear resulting in outward lack. If you want to shake poverty off of you, you must first get it out of you. Would you like to know how?

John Louis Muratori, Author of Rich Church, Poor ChurchIntroducing Rich Church – Poor Church

John Muratori, a recognized authority in organizational management and strategic planning, the founder of multiple companies and non-profit corporations as well as being the Senior Pastor of a thriving worship center in Connecticut has written a groundbreaking book called Rich Church - Poor Church. The content is so rich, I asked John if we could do a teleseminar together to “unpack” more of the great wealth of information and make it available to you. The seminar, done in interview format, explores not only the causes of poverty, but also unveils twelve laws of wealth creation every believer needs to know! We call it Christian Wealth Building – A Candid Look at Rich Church – Poor Church.

The ideas discussed in this seminar are powerful and life transforming and will help you capture the seven gates of influence in your city or nation! No longer will you need to be the supplicant serving at the pleasure of the wicked, but you can be the head and not the tail, transforming the culture and shaping the future. With John Muratori’s permission, I have secured 500 copies of this 300 + page book to give away FREE to the first 500 people to purchase the Christian Wealth Building Teleseminar. Your posts are so worthwhile. You walk in tremendous wisdom and revelation and are gracious and generous in sharing your treasures with others in the business arena. Thank you.

  2. Kara Harris c-us Says:

So, okay, I needed to hear something. The choice was hard. Broke is a reality here, but for more than 20 years it has been a way of humble, I thought, for me. I hated the “air conditioned dog house” theology. At the same time I have been a missionary/business person attached to a ministry. So, last night I returned home after a sales meeting, with another person succeeding and claiming the “Secret”, the new age pop theology now traveling the fringe elements of the church. I had also left home with your newest release advertised on my computer, asking my husband to check it out. Since I am no longer employed and my finances dwindling, I wanted his input.
He agreed I needed to order it. My prayer was, and has been, GOD, please show me YOUR ways, and YOUR thoughts as I realize they are much higher than my finite brain can conceive. I am almost beginning to feel a bit desparate here, so this prayer is one of those from deep inside my soul, truly seeking. I have listened to the first installment and am excited within my spirit, being quickened by what I have heard. I fall between the guy living in the Volkswagen and the one namin’ it and claimin’ it! I also believe I NEED the wealth to help my pregnancy center as they minister and also my friend who runs a children’s ranch and takes in foster children. I need income to help my unsaved 81 year old mother, who is living in poverty too as my dad made no provision for her. The list could go on and on you know.
I also believe I came to find Michael Pink as a send from my Heavenly Father, as a traffic cop in this life needing direction. I do not desire to be the man who buried the treasure as he feared a harsh task master. I love to give and am looking forward to figuring out this new direction with the help of this presentation. Once again, I thank you, and my Father in heaven, for bringing some water to this dry and thirsty lady! Blessings!

  3. Kern c-us Says:

Jesus also said ” you will be persecuted. The road is narrow and hard.” Some people will lose all their possessions, yes even their life for Jesus sake.

Do not chase after the things of this world, your citizenship is in heaven.

I believe the answer is contentment. How many of us are content?

  4. Michael Pink c-us Says:

    My brother Kern;

The topic is not about possessions or chasing the things of this world. You should order it and see for yourself.

    Blessings,

    Michael

  5. Kern c-us Says:

    Michael,

A lot of people will read this and think that God’s owes them wealth and prosperity. Now it is true some God will prosper but not because of what they do or who they are, but because of His mercy and grace. And if he does not, He still should get our love and devotion. Love God not his gifts.

My brother, these are you words. It sounds like money and possessions to me. Now I agree that God did bless Abraham and the Jewish nation but it was for His greater purpose. Some Christians will never own anything, ie Paul, Jesus himself while others will own things to meet the needs of others for God’s purpose. Some will be put to death for my sake, while others
will lose everything even their own families.

Just trying to keep it balanced my brother.

  6. Kara Harris c-us Says:

I cannot articulate how important it is that others not JUDGE this message until they have listened. I am on the political portion now and so many thoughts are racing as you are speaking. I am sorry some have joined the lies of the world and satan leaving us impotent in ministry and without resourses. Being a missionary, I see the NEED of the Body to hear what you have to say BEFORE they judge it. I am feeling the “babe leaping in the womb” so strongly I am having a problem typing this. I hope in the upcoming teachings you will help me organize all that makes the babe leap in a way that is somewhat overwhelming manner. This is not a negative statement, it is one proclaiming HIS glory! Thanks again for ALL you have done. May GOD continue to guide you both in this.

  7. Michael Pink c-us Says:

    Hi Kern;

How anyone could read this and draw the conclusion you worry about - that someone would think God owes them anything, let alone wealth and prosperity - is beyond me and far, far away from both the intent and the content of the message which Kara has now heard and commented so strongly on. Notice that Kara is not talking about the car she might get or the house she might own, but something far deeper. This teaching is not about the lust of the eye or the lust of the flesh, it is about impacting a generation. You really should order it. You won’t be disappointed. Blessings, Michael

  8. Peter c-us Says:

I would like to add that this CD set is a very powerful and filled with deep revelation that has been deposited in John Muratori and Michael Pink. It is not a prosperity message or in the “name it and claim it” stream. This message is critical for every believer.

Rich Church Poor Church is a handbook for financial stewardship and wealth creation. If scriptural evidence is your concern, then you will be overwhelmed with the content and biblical balance. Most of all, as deep calls to deep, if you are open for Truth, you will have all the confirmation that you need as you read the text and listen to the seminar.

  9. Kara Harris c-us Says:

WARNING! Do not, I repeat DO NOT try to go to sleep listening John’s “Power to get wealth” sermon! Before someone “assumes” something from the title they NEED to listen to it! My warning comes as it is far too inspirational to listen to while heading to the “snooze zone.” I tried to listen to the “Rainforest” portion, but it had music overlapping it. My husband will reload it for me today.
Years ago I was involved with a group of very legalistic people. They did have an understanding of the Word, but it was an empty gong, without love, using the Word to control others. I was so blessed my Heavenly Father planted HIS spirit within me to give me HIS discernment. It has always been like a smoke detector for me, and for this I am eternally grateful. I have watched others follow any kind of winds of doctrine they felt good about at the time. My point here is, it took almost a crucifixion of my mindset when the word prosperity came into play as I was so turned off by the message of “self evangelism” that had become the mantra of the tele-evangelists. I have become overly cautious when the word “prosperity” comes into play in the same sentence as the Word of GOD.
Again, I am overly cautious, yet this message strikes so true. I was not looking to “get rich quick” or to find a street paved in gold. I am seriously trying to find where HE wants me to be and be there. I believe this is a teaching putting my focus into HIS perspective since mine is so (humanly) limited. I pray HE will continue to guide and direct my path through whatever medium it takes. I just pray I am not so thick it will take a donkey speaking to do it! Blessings in HIS name!

  10. Dave C. c-us Says:

I personally don’t have a problem with any of the theology given. Just make sure you check your motives first. Are you wanting prosperity for the right reasons? What are you willing to do to get it? Don’t take the wrong actions in an attempt to get the right results.

  11. Dennis Preston c-us Says:

I would also add that “stuff” is not bad which seems to be some of the critique of these ideas and messages from Michael and John. If you think it is bad, tell that to the poor who when they receive food, clothing and shelter, realize that the kingdom of God has come to them. Someone had to make the money, over and above what their own personal responsibilities were, to be able to provide that for them. And many will say, well, if all the church tithed, their would be no need for offerings. That might be true, although not Biblical because the Bible differentiates between tithes and offerings. Point being, folks have to make more than they need for their own needs in order to bless others and extend the kingdom of God.

Some are also called to walk in what are considered very powerful positions in the world. In doing so, they will make lots of money. It’s not just the pursuit of money, it’s the pursuit of their calling. And if their calling is an ability to be able to make money and they don’t follow it, they will be, as Kara has said, burying what God intended for them to grow.

One other important point: we need to read the Bible as a whole and let Scripture interpret Scripture. God does not contradict himself. When he talks about Job getting back what he lost, it indicates God’s blessing on his life and it talks about material things!!! Undoubtedly Job employed servants who saw God’s faithfulness and potentially became believers in the one true God through his life. There are also many references to blessings being material. To think otherwise is patently unscriptural, unbelieving, disobedient and in agreement with the kingdom of darkness. It’s also a form of Gnosticism and linked to the anti-Christ spirit. In 1 John, John says that those who deny that Jesus came in the flesh are those of the anti-Christ spirit. Part of this has to do with the goodness and physicality of life, and our ability to overcome in this life. I feel much stronger about this than I’m even writing, that those who do not agree are in agreement with darkness. I’m not condemning those who do (as I’m sure I have areas in my life that are not in agreement with God), I’m not writing it in a mean, hateful spirit. I’m writing it standing against the evil that it is. I for one am tired of the devil affecting my life and the lives of my brothers and sisters. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH IN JESUS NAME!! I realize that I may be offending some who write in this blog, but I must point out evil when I see it and stand against it. And if you knew me, I’m not one to rail. My wife is constantly encouraging me to assert myself (in the proper way).

Michael and John, you have my strongest support and blessing! I will be geting this series at some point. God’s richest blessings be upon you.

  12. Edward Samson Luke c-in Says:

    Dear Brother in Christ,
I understand that God blessed Abraham like any thing , the reason was very simple that he obeyed God for what ever he was commanded, but in today’s world people are not simple they go into all pros and cons and logics, if they find good then probably will they obey otherwise no botheration at all.
i feel OBEDIENCE of God’s commandment is the only PRINCIPLE of receiving blessings from God Almighty.
Dear brother pray for me too so that I should flourish as I lost the job and have debts to repay. May God Bless You always, Amen. In Jesus Iam Edward

  13. Kara Harris c-us Says:

Okay, so out on my bike today with my MP3 player on my head listening and oh it was good. Session 4 is really helpful with the point given about the Jewish system and how they operate. It is interesting to note they dealt with their naughty people before the courts did. Also, they were not split by numerous doctrinal issues. BTW, I have always had a love of the OT. If you don’t have a grasp of the OT, how can one EVER understand the NT? I am at a point in my walk where I am waiting to understand the “peanut” and have no need to understand the entire universe. I cannot wait to get the CD’s, as Michael’s teaching on the Rainforest has some distracting music in the background on the downloaded version.
I hope someone who has listened to this series will post their comments soon. Blessings!

  14. "The Geek" c-us Says:

    Hi Kara,

Thanks for your comments and for pointing out the problem with the MP3 file of Michael teaching on the “Rainforest Wealth Secrets.” The good news is that you can skip about 2 minutes into the recording and everything returns to normal. Thanks to you pointing this out, we’ve edited the file and eliminated that portion for everyone who downloads the product in the future.

    Enjoy!

  15. Kara Harris c-us Says:

Prime Time with GOD states what John and Michael are also trying to get across to people too.
“We learn that even though young Samuel had a belief in God, he had not yet experienced a personal relationship with Him. God called to Samuel three times, but Samuel thought it was Eli, the priest, calling him. Finally, Eli told him to say, “Speak Lord, for your servant is listening” (1 Sam. 3:9b). This is what Samuel did, and God began telling Samuel important things to come.”
Along with George Washington Carver and Samuel before him, I too ask of the Father, Speak to me Father, for your servant is indeed listening!

  16. Tyrone Liggians c-us Says:

In all your getting get understanding - Proverbs 4: 5-7

I believe we fail to prosper in all areas of our life…simply because we really don’t understand divine principles…A Greater understanding of God’s word and revelation by His spirit along with practical goal setting-time management practices will yield Wealth Health and Success in all areas of our lives..financially, emotionally, relationally, physically and spirtiually
