Mr. Geek,

I, too, as with Keith, struggled in formulating a proper address to you. I agree, there are world changers here.

Richard Foster quoted Leo Tolstoy in "The Celebration of Discipline" where Tolstoy said that everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing himself. Our destiny is to be conformed to the image of Christ. In our being changed, we realize the ills that affect the human race can be changed, and we become world-changers, which is really becoming disciples and then disciplers of others.

Blessings to you!

Dear Mr Geek,

LOL, alas the Kingdom! No president, no vote, no opinion, just His Rule and Reign. His Peace shall flow like a river and His Justice like the Ocean's tide. Too easy to get PC when there is only one correction that needs made. Our will must become one with His will. His Kingdom coming and correcting and making all things new. His will being done here as it is there. Perfect peace, perfected minds and bodies.
Tis' true there are world changers among us. . . for anyone among us that is in Christ and born from above has the power and authority to establish and decree His will in this world, no matter how large or small the change. We will become one with one another as we become one with Him and then we will prosper and be in health as our souls prosper and we function like a body should.

Kingdom citizen Keith

Blessings to us and thru us to reach out help release those in darkness

Dennis -- thanks for the chuckle. Sounds like "concerned Geek" is reminiscent of "military intelligence," in your mind. ;)

It's my honor to serve the Kingdom by serving those of you who frequent this blog. I have the sense that there are world changers in our midst here, and if somehow we can facilitate the networking and sharpening of that class of Kingdom citizen, then it is a worthwhile pursuit, indeed.

This is true, however, the question being left off the questionairre was in large part my reason for responding. It cannot be left out because it is not as relevant as other issues or because its already been overplayed. If they only had room for 11 questions? it still needs to remain on the list, although I am sure there are 101 questions that could be posed. The problem with ALL the issues is just as you said, "lip service" and no delivery. That goes across the board and across both aisles of Congress and The Senate, in addition to the Executive Branch. Unfortunately, The Judicial Branch is making decisions it was never intended to make, that is establishing laws rather than interpreting existing ones. Can there be a single man [ or woman ] that can address every issue successfully with such a divide on Capitol Hill. Its not possible during any administration. We must do as the founding fathers, pray for all in authority.

Keith; The pro-life issue is so very critical, yet George Bush, (supposedly pro-life) was in power for coming on 8 years and did virtually nothing compared to what he could have done with one stroke of the pen on day one. So when a candidate says he or she is pro-life, we should also evaluate them on their voting record and other positions to see if they are simply giving us lip service like we've had for 8 years or commitment.

Pro-Life isnt just about abortions and womans rights. It touches every area of human existence. Pro-life is the antithesis of a culture that no longer on the whole values life at any level. Senior citizens, homeless, the diseased and dying in the "disease care" system [not health care] children in broken homes or in foster homes, the prisoners in the prisons, etc.
The threat of annihilation via terrorists with nuclear capabilities or biological war threats. Gun control issues. The list goes on...therefore choose life says the Lord, that both you and your seed may live[ Deut 30;19 ] We must use this issue as it reflects upon all these other areas. It is a core value and issue that must be addressed by all. God said it, therefore it stands.

Okay, I'm undergoing a paradigm shift...a "concerned" geek. I don't normally put those two words together. :-)

Okay, I'm teasing. Seriously, thank you for being a servant to those of us who frequent this blog. We are blessed because of it.
