It’s a New World Order Alright…

Listen. Government as we want to believe it exists, died a long time ago or at least became terribly anemic and somewhat parasitic. We only have the façade of being “for the people”. Not that there aren’t good people in government. It’s just that they can all fit into a single school bus! OK. So I am overstating the obvious but government is less controlled by the people it governs than by the corporate, sometimes international corporate interests it really serves. As bad as that is, there is a piece of good news you’ve got to read again. A monarch actually wrote these words…
“Why do the nations rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against His anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. He that sits in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision. Then shall He speak unto them in His wrath, and distress them in His great displeasure. Yet have I set My king upon My holy hill of Zion.” Psalm 2:1-6 (Grant it Lord!)
So while the world turns and changes and transforms in front of our very eyes and while there is a hidden agenda that does not have our best interests in mind (to say the least), this also creates an opportunity for us. Crisis always creates opportunity. If the economy caves and your 401K evaporates are you prepared mentally and spiritually to weather that storm and chart a new course that not only preserves and protects your family but also provides an ark of sorts to help those who are still partying like it’s 1999?
Don’t wait for disaster or difficult times to prepare. Jesus refers to that strategy as the “foolish virgin strategy”. Prepare now. How can you do that you ask? That’s a huge question, but first and foremost you better get used to hearing and obeying the leading of the Lord. If you are too busy to quiet the distractions and hear God’s voice, you are way too busy.
Did you know that in the rainforest, trees grow the most just prior to daybreak, before the sun peaks its head above the horizon, while it’s still dark and quiet, before the work of the day begins? It’s when scientists tell us that water is most available to the trees at the root level. As you will learn in Rainforest Strategy, water is information. Before you get caught up in the affairs of the day, be sure to drink of that transformational information that will facilitate growth so you can fulfill your purpose and carry the load of the day. For me, that is the Scripture or perhaps some great worship music. What is it for you?

Sobering and encouraging. First thing in the morning, it’s scrambled eggs, toast and my Bible. Psalm 37 is wonderful. If you make a list, it tells you what to do, what not to do, what’s in store for the righteous, and what’s coming to the wicked. Then I just read Psalm 73. Check it out. It’s wonderful too. You are so right. Let God have you first!!!

Thank you for helping to promote a word of hope - so many predict trouble. While you are open about difficulties and trials I appreciate how you point us to the Lord and to trust in Him. Then with that focus, we can start on that new growth.

Worship (humble), Worship (humble), Worship (humble) and WORSHIP some more! If I look to the government I would put my head between my knees and PASS OUT! My hope is built on nothing less….. I like hymns too! Last week I spent time at our County Fair and could not believe how angry some people are! Funny thing was, the angry ones came from one political party! Oops, there I go again, sorry, gotta go WORSHIP, forget about myself and concentrate on HIM….and WORSHIP HIM! Thanks Michael! Blessings in HIM, KLH

Wow. This just confirms to me what the Lord has been speaking to my heart. He has been giving me some revelations about prayer time, soaking in His prescence, and Amos 9:13. It falls in line with this article.
As I have choosen to get up early in the morning (and I mean early; 2 hours before everyone else @ home) to spend time with the King, I have seen a great deal of benefit already. This encourages me to continue to press into that time, especially now that it’s cold outside and the body rather be sleeping!

Michael - thanks for keeping the encouraging words coming. In our rat-race busy world, it is so easy to slip into the “urgent” mode and then begin to operate as if that is the norm.
I can attest that the days I truly feast on God’s Word and worship Him - yes, before checking email, making the kids breakfast & lunch - before ANY OTHER ACTIVITY - my day runs so much better.
Thanks for the great reminder……I’m looking forward to your new book on Friday.

If I could find ‘the tubes’ I would be going down them. This is a sarcastically funny letter I sent John McCain (since I live in Arizona). His response is that I should be patient and understand that he has the answer……………………………………. Mercy!!!!!
The 500 Billion Dollar Golden-Potato Con
A billion has 000,000,000 zeros (add 500 to that) in the U S and 000,000,000,000 (that’s twelve) in England — I guess they’re just more or less advanced than we are —– divide 500B by 250K and that’s an equivalent of how many nice homes that 500B (700B in Gov’t math) is equal to (that comes out to – don’t peek – it will show up later). Regardless, I have meditated about the current situation and you will be relieved to know, I have figured it out and here it is!!!
Let’s see how this might work. You are a small ‘potato farmer’ and you convince (con) some of your neighbors that your potatoes have turned to gold nuggets and they should invest in your crop – “just imagine what we’ll make when I dig them up”. You will eventually possibly be convicted of fraud and your neighbors will be ‘guiltyofstupidity’ (new word) fueled by greed (nothing new about that) which of course carries its own punishment – normally that is.
On the other hand, if you are a licensed merchant in ‘roughgoldnuggets’ (new word) and you get convinced (conned) by a potato Co-Op (licensed potato broker) that all of the potatoes in the U S will turn to ‘roughgoldnuggets’ you will be guilty of stupidity but make tons of commission money selling futures until someone actually tries to wear a ‘roughgoldnugget’ on their hand or around their neck – something is rotten here, they say… So all of a sudden everybody figures out the potato fraud and you, the licensed ‘roughgoldnuggets’ merchant lose all of your money — as in all of it and your potatoes ain’t so hot either. Oooooops, now you can’t pay your investors in roughgoldnuggets (don’t exist) or money (gone) and they don’t want your remaining goldenpotatonuggets because there are just too many left and nobody really wanted them in the first place and they are ‘not what they say they are’ - thanks goodness someone invented that term. Your reward, as a licensed scam artist and ‘really stupidgreedy person albeit highly intelligent victim investor licensed broker’ is to be appointed by the U S Government as the new Trust Me Agent who will be paid in full for all of your stupid investments AND in addition you will be paid tons of money to figure out how to sell all the potatoes in an orderly fashion (or not), as long as you don’t implicate any ‘officials’.
You call yourself ‘Goldmen in Potato Sachs’ and the Secretary of Defense eventually bails you out by buying your ‘nuggets’ for what you paid for them plus a new Trust Me Fee and trades them to the United Nations for oil futures (made from ‘Green’ potatoes that is) ——————————— With a slight tax increase to Americans in the form of a farm subsidy, life goes on —– However, the United Nations never pays for anything so they of course negotiate a loan from the U S to pay for the rotten potatoes, etc, etc, etc….. The potatoes are eventually dumped into the ocean in order to create more space for sharks to live in; ad nauseam – now the Sierra Club is involved.
Oh yeah, meanwhile all of the real potato farmers will go broke (an adjustment period) because they’re just not as organized (they only have a Congress & Senate) as all the unreal potato farmers and certainly didn’t bother to get licensed in order to protect themselves from their neighbors who no longer believe in potatoes —————————
If you don’t understand any of this, you have a healthy mind. If you understand it but don’t agree that’s okay too. It’s all just an opinion…..
Now the small print (that’s 2 million homes — a 2 with 6 zeros – 2,000,000 homes that would house 6 million people that will never exist but that we will all pay for. FYI, we pay roughly $3,244 in state and local taxes per capita in Arizona just to put it in ‘perspective’). Also, maybe 3million Jews covering area about the size of Phoenix, Az. wandered the earth for a long time. Multiply the number and the size by 1,000 and you still only have 3billion and 1,000 cities full of wandering people — that’s a lot of wandering.

Aw heck, I can’t keep up with what is happening in thew U.S. right now, it’s all to complicated for me! Except that it affects the New Zealand economy too. A lot of Kiwis are nervouly watching to see what will happen. Keep up those prayer meetings on Wall Street!
This world is no longer a bunch of independent nations doing their own thing, but, like the rainforest, we are interdependent economically and I believe, spiritually too. So, I pray that He has a divine pathway open up to His bride, to walk in economic integrity, security and safety.
There are Hamans out there who want to see the church destroyed, as well as the nations that openly accept the Christian faith. Let the Bride enter the chamber and confer with Her King. The sceptre is always extended towards us.

Hey Chrissie,
Across the ditch here in Oz we have become cushioned to the global uncertainty thanks to our greater involvement in India & China as well as other parts of Asia. We also have a better regulatory system than the US when it comes to financial markets. Given the fact that NZ isn’t as large as Australia it has performed a lot better until the past year or two in economic terms.
I’m sure Michael will post Gerald Chester’s Gleanings for this month shortly as it really looks at the causes of the whole meltdown & sums it up very well.

It is so true about being sensitive to the voice of the Lord, especially more so now in these days. For me it has always been praying in the Spirit and reading His Word. The more time I spend doing them, the more I am aware of His presence and His leading. But I do agree we need the Lord’s leading in these days especially with all decision making and even more so in financial matters.

This message was timely and appreciated as all of your works are. I have noticed for years, that the time spent with the Lord around daybreak was always rich and powerful time….when I do it! The story about the tree was inspiring and spoke volumes to me. I think now, more than ever, with financial uncertainities, scandels, etc. it is so important that the children of God get with Him for special times of fellowship and guided, Holy Spirit instruction, in order to discern the times.
