A Word in Due Season
November 20th, 2008 | Michael Q. Pink
“Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.” (Colossians 4:6)
My Mont Blanc pen fell on the tile floor and broke at the hotel we were staying at in Jamaica. I knew of a duty free store about a mile away where they sold jewelry, etc and thought I might get a cheap replacement there. I was wrong.
Besides having only expensive stuff there and zero customers due to a hurricane a few days earlier, the two young men running the store were of Indian descent. They had a picture of one of those gods with multiple arms, a human face but an elephant trunk, etc. They also had a picture of some kind of guru looking guy. I didn’t want to do business with them in this idol worshiping environment. (How holy of me, say I sarcastically!)
But God had other plans. I asked them who the guru was and was informed it was God. I mentioned that he looked rather young for someone who had been alive for such a long time and then asked them if they would want to know if they were wrong about that. They did, so I proceeded to ask them a number of questions I read about in the Evidence Bible which is an incredible tool for evangelism. Their answers led to a point of decision and both of those men surrendered to Christ right there in the store.
The thing that helped my wife and I open these men up was the simple questions we read about in the Evidence Bible. As it turns out, we have a few of those left in our inventory at a greatly reduced price, just in time for Christmas. It refutes very succinctly and lovingly every major religion and cult in their notes section and guides you in effective soul winning. Click here to get one for someone you love… (Very limited supply on hand)

First, I am always ready and waiting to read Michael Pink’s commentary on business techniques in general and really enjoyed some of his older work that seemed to concentrate more on sales.
I met him once, years ago at a free seminar he did in Columbus, Ohio and what a great day it was. I still use and lean on much of the information I received that day. Thank you for that day Michael.
It’s because of this feeling I have for Michael and his entire network that I hesitate to make this post.
It centers on the most confrontational area there is when it comes to religious beliefs and that is how does a person receive the free gift of salvation?
You know, we as Christians would never have a disagreement on 99% of the Bible.
But it is the area of salvation and how we receive it that has been the argument and Church splitting point of the ages.
Why is this? Well think about.
Satan doesn’t care if you believe in GOD. He does too and so do his fallen army.
He doesn’t care that you attended services every Sunday morning, every Sunday and Wednesday evening.
He could care less if you tithe, donate to the benevolence fund, feed the poor or teach Sunday school.
The only thing he cares about is that you do not receive salvation … period!
So that is the reason he has directed his lying ways to this point.
Brothers and Sisters, I’m not trying to cause problems anyone.
I just want to address the facts.
I built a website that was originally for my lost family and friends.
A place where they could truly investigate Christianity and all the facts that surrounds it.
It’s only when all the facts are laid out in front of you, that you can make a ruling.
I now want to invite you to visit my site. It could be the most important website visit you’ll ever make.
Thank you all and God Bless … Keith Shamblin

I was raised with the saying “If you can’t say anything nice about someone, don’t say nothing at all.” This sounded pretty good to me and a word to live by until I read where Jesus told his apostles to beware of the leven of the Pharisees and where St. Paul wrore that scripture is profitable for doctrine, rebuke, correction, and instruction in righteousness. I began to ask myself how was Jesus being “nice” and “gracious” in what he said about the leven of the Pharisees. And I also wondered how a godly word “rebuke” and “correction” can be “nice” and gracious”.
I used to think that when Jesus said, to “judge not not lest ye be judged” that meant that I should keep my mouth shut if I see anyone doing something wrong. But then I read where Jesus said that we should judge righteous judgment. I was a bit confused until God revealed to me that we as the mature saints and sons of God are to judge the world. And that this judgment means to discern between the influence and workings of the devil and the infuence and workings of the God.

To all of you have posted wondering where the Evidence Bible is to be found, our website automatically deletes it when it is sold out. Ordinarily I would ask Cheryl to verify the status but she is off sick today. If she comes in tomorrow, I will be sure we get an update to you. Thanks!
