Your Mother Always Told You to Say “Thank You”
And She Was Right All The Way To The Bank

One of our certified Rainforest Strategists made a discovery recently that changed the way he runs his business - and his revenues have gone up! His story is incredible and I wanted to pass it along to you because I believe that we all benefit from sharing the tools, discoveries and ideas that have grown our companies.

I love the title of this post. Very attention-getting. I like this video and this concept. Along this same line of thought, one e-commerce company I work with has recently started mailing hand-written thank you notes to customers. It’s unexpected as an online order response.

This is an awesome suggestion … THANKS for posting! We will definitely look into using this technology.

There is ALWAYS room for a heartfelt thanks to customers and anyone else. This is such a simple action but one that goes a long way. Not to mention this great technology. Thanks for sharing.

Yes, Thank You’s are often missed today, yet extremely important because relationships are extremely important to the Lord.
Talk Fusion videos are a great way to go.
On a more traditional side, there is SendOutCards, a company which allows you to send real greeting cards through the mail with the click of your mouse.
Hearing a voice and seeing a face does add a special personal touch, though. Thanks for the info and video.

It’s great to see how technology can build family and community. What a blessing this has been for me to stay in touch with my special needs son at school this past year.

Simple Treasure! Well done. This was a delightful topic, on this blog of June 23rd by Mr. Pink. Saying “Thank You” shows an “attitude of gratitude” to others for what they do. People respond positively to that!

When I am in public, and I say PLEASE and THANK YOU liberally to others, I notice that it produces FAVOR. Favor is released. I get blessed with good consequences, simply for having an attitude of gratitude, and saying please & thank you to people. It also shows respect towards people (honor others).

A big smile also produces huge rewards. People respond to these things. I have seen it constantly.

Michael has mom’s pegged perfectly! I did what millions of other moms have done and still to. . . . . I taught my child manners, taught him to say please and thank you — because it matters.

I often look at the bigger picture too: God loves to hear us say THANK YOU to Him! :-) It is pleasing to God to hear me say Thank You to Him for all my blessings in life (count them one by one), and for His Love, and for so great a gift of Salvation which Jesus Christ paid for, to redeem me (and you).

One thing that really makes an impression upon me, is when someone spends their TIME on me somehow, in service to me, someway. For example, a Bank Teller on the phone, who answers my questions about my Bank Account when I call, and provides to me the information I was seeking. At the conclusion of the call, I always say “Thank You for your time today”. I appreciate that the person gave me some of their time.
Time is important! And what I wanted was important to me — and they gave it to me. So, I thank them for it.

To anyone who reads my entry, thanks for taking the time to do so.
    Have a blessed week. :-)
    Sincerely,
    Victoria

Michael, thanks for sharing this with us. From a pure sales standpoint, it serves as a real differentiator. Imagine when you go calling for repeat business a year or two from now … and they say, “Oh, yeah, you’re the guy/gal who sent me the thank you video.” You will be remembered.

More often than not, in this e-mail/blog/twitter world of ours, real “thank yous” have become far too impersonal and quick. Doing a video like the one shown takes, what, a couple of minutes? It’s a tiny price to pay. This is far more personal than leaving a voice mail.

Michael, a personal thank you to you! I was laid off in November - first time in 40 years without a job! But I’ve taken your daily messages and your Rainforest book, and have embarked upon a new venture, which I really feel the Lord has opened up for me. I feel I’ve come upon the “eth” of God. Once this venture proves fruitful (not if but when), I believe my wife and I will be traveling to Panama with you!
