The Lord is My Shepherd…
July 6th, 2009 | Michael Q. Pink
I am traveling back from Panama today and my wife wrote this personalized version of the 23rd Psalm before we left. It really helped me so I thought today; I would pass it on to you…
The Lord is my Shepherd… therefore I want for nothing.
Because He loves me, He supplies all my needs according to His riches in glory.
He makes me to lie down in lush green pastures along the banks of cool still waters, giving me rest and restoring my soul by the washing of the water of His word.
He has given me the robe of righteousness to keep me on the right path.
And though I walk through the dark valley, I have no fear of evil; I have no fear of death, for He is with me, always giving me confidence, strength and comfort.
He gives me great favor and causes me to triumph over my enemies.
His anointing over me fills my cup to overflow.
His goodness and His mercy follow me all the days of my life on Earth, and then I am privileged and abundantly blessed to live in His house forever.
Amen!

Even our DNA, our nature.Babtised into Him and havig the triune God ,in us ,working all things for the Kingdom, and to our eternal, and earthly good.Amen, even In exzuberant worship ,as in Job 1:20

So Be It ! I must see you show up as my Shepherd. I am absolutely desperate with so much promise but little fulfillment. Where is the fulfillment?

pasted in for Gary (622am): From John Eldredge bk “Desire”
Should the king in exile pretend he is happy there? Should he not seek his own country? His miseries are his ally; they urge him on. And so let them grow, if need be. But do not forsake the secret of life; do not despise those kingly desires. We abandon the most important journey of our lives when we abandon desire. We leave our hearts by the side of the road and head off in the direction of fitting in, getting by, being productive, what have you. Whatever we might gain— money, position, the approval of others, or just absence of the discontent itself—it’s not worth it. “What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul?” (Matt. 16:26).
