How Tweet It Is!

August 11th, 2009 | Michael Q. Pink

Chances are, if you recognize the title of this message as being a play on Jackie Gleason’s famous line, “How sweet it is!,” then you probably feel like me that you are not the least bit interested in Tweeting or wasting your time in some kind of social media seminar.

How To Dominate Your Marketplace Using Social MediaSo why are we having this event on Thursday night at 9:00 PM Eastern?  For the same reason that I got an email account when I didn’t want to do email. For the same reason that I built my first website when I really didn’t want a website.

We are doing this webinar because it is possibly the most explosive new form of reaching an audience, building a following and doing real time market research ever unleashed on mankind. And those things are absolutely essential in building any business.

Sure, most people twitter away their time, sending out worthless messages to mindless followers, but there are a growing number of established enterprises that recognize the incredible value and force that tools like Twitter and others provide. Twitter works faster than any other form of media. It is instant. It is accurate. And it is compelling.

David G. JohnsonTo learn what we are doing and how you can join me as we go down this social media road, I invite you to join me and my guest, David Johnson, Thursday night at 9:00 PM Eastern Time. Click here to register.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Blessings,

Michael

P.S. Reserve your spot right away… they won’t last long!

    Dear friends,

I think Michael P. and David J. will agree that God (not Al Gore, ha ha) invented the Internet (social media) and anointed certain people, perhaps like Al Gore, to be instrumental in making it a working reality. I believe God’ s purpose for the Internet (social media) is one of his ordained means to bring people together under the banner of his righteous kingdom of unity on earth. Through the social media, I believe Father God is fulfilling Jesus’ s prayer that we all be one with the Father as he is. But as with most all of Father God’s plans and purposes he has ordained that the devil challenge and try to either hijack or in some way stop God’ s plans from being fulfilled. But we know that God always maintains control of Satan and that Satan’s efforts actually bring about the perfecting of God’ s plans to ensure they will be carried out perfectly. We know that Jesus told his disciples that Satan comes to steal the kingdom word from people’ s hearts after they have heard it. But in God’ s plan he will empower his children (his saints) to eventually overcome Satan just as Jesus did and is still doing in the hearts of all mankind today.
I think for many people, who first hear about the “social media”, there are mixed feelings. For the wealthy more stingy type of conservative thinkers, the world “social” may flip them out believing it means socialism, where the government takes their tightly held wealth from them to redistribute to the underserving poor who they feel are lazy. The rugged American indivualist, who proudly accomplishes things on his own, does not look favorably upon anything “social” that would require him to work with others he may feel are ignorant and lacking in drive and motivation to become wealthy like he is. Basically such a person is very selfish and does not want to share the blessings God has bestowed upon him. But in God’ s kingdom perspective, God is no respector of such persons. He does not honor the proud individualist. Jesus said such proud wealthy men will not enter or inherit the kingdom of God.
But because God loves all his creation and his plan calls for all mankind to be saved and enter in and enjoy his kingdom on earth, God will remove the pride of the rich man and change his mind and heart so that he too may enter in to his kingdom. I believe God is using the social media to bring about the changes necessary in man’ s thinking so they will be accepted into God’ s kingdom. As people honestly discuss their expereinces with God and others on the Internet I believe all will be able to come to the knowledge of God’ s truth and thereby be saved from the ignorance and confusion that has been wrought by the devil. Amen
