The First Report is NOT the Last Report!

Last Monday my wife and I were up at 4:00 am, had some wonderful time with the Lord over some cappuccino and then took our usual walk around the subdivision lake before having a bite to eat and then diving into work. Other than some apparent sinus congestion and building pressure behind her eye, all was well with us and the world. That was Monday.
On Tuesday morning, while doing some exercises on her exercise ball, she lost her balance and struck her head against the dresser. It wasn’t the fall that alarmed us… It was the fact that she fell. Something was not right in our world and we went to the doctor to find out. It wasn’t the bump that concerned the doctor, but rather the accompanying symptoms and we were advised to go to the emergency room at the hospital for a CT scan. With some reluctance we went.
The attending physician got concerned and brought in a neurologist who opted for a brain scan MRI instead. We were still hoping to be out of there in time for dinner and pick up a prescription for what we thought was a sinus or inner ear infection throwing off her sense of balance. Then it came. The news there was a golf ball sized mass behind her right eye.
Brenda was admitted immediately and they proceeded to do a full body CT scan to search for cancer in other parts of her body. By the time the tests and questions were finished, it was 1:30 in the morning. We found out the next day, there was no cancer in those other places. We were turned over to a neurosurgeon for consultation on Thursday, and later introduced to an array of cancer specialists, while as yet no one had given us the diagnosis of what was in her brain, other than it was a tumor.
We scheduled a biopsy for Friday and initial reports confirmed the doctors’ worst fears. The specimen was sent off for a pathology test to confirm what they believe they already know. To complicate matters, during these same few days, my wife has lost the ability to control much of the left side of her body. Simple things have become exceedingly difficult if not altogether out of reach.
We checked out of the hospital Saturday to be able to rest at home while waiting on the pathology report. I like to think I can write reasonably well, but I cannot begin to express the anguish of heart to see my wife whom I love more than life, struggle like this while staring at a prognosis that I will not dignify by putting into print. We slept the last two nights in the same single hospital bed, like two puppies snuggled up, taking comfort in the nearness and presence of the other.
According to the physician, this would have begun in the last couple of months, roughly around the time when we began to boldly proclaim that God wants you well, that it is His will for us to live a long life and not be struck down prematurely with disease. So here we are now, staring the giant in the face, eye ball to eye ball with everything on the line.
A crisis like this has a strange way of focusing you. For me, nothing else matters but seeing my wife recover and live a full life with me. God has spoken to her in the night season while at the hospital and we are pressing into God for His help and further instruction.
Conventional treatments are not an option. The tumor is inoperable and, according to them, incurable. Well, as one dear friend told me the other day, it seemed like all the diseases Jesus healed were incurable!
No disrespect to the medical profession here, but they had nothing but apologies to offer and absolutely no hope. Orthodox treatments offer only a few months extra time and most of that is spent vomiting or just being horribly sick. Not an option for us. Our hope comes from the Lord. Only now, it’s all on the line. We can’t just talk it.
We’ve made a decision. Win or lose, it doesn’t change the fact that God’s Word is true and He can be trusted. I believe the Lord and ask Him to help my unbelief. God healed Hezekiah with a poultice, another man by bathing in a river, and countless others in various ways. We look with expectancy to see Him deliver us in our hour of great need.
As we journey on, we welcome and appreciate your support in any form. While we fight this battle, I am not taking direct calls or able to answer emails, but we covet your prayer support and are strengthened by your love and friendship.

I’m in prayer for you. And I understand all too well as I battle a serious auto immune disease.
I have various scriptures claiming healing all over my home and office- to help fight the battle. I am also reminded of reading from 31 days of healing (Mark Brazee) where he speacks opf the story of Jairus (Mark 5). Jairus daughter had already died…Jesus turns to hm and says- Fear NOT, only believe! At that moment, He laid out a choice- You’re either going to fear or you’re going to believe.” Jairus chose to believe….
And so I speak works of life and truth that will open the door for God to make your wife healthy and whole. God bless and keep you both.

Michael, I will be praying for you and Brenda. Similar situation in ‘96; God chose to have mercy on me and here I am today with all my kids grown and through college. That was my prayer, just long enough to get them on there way, and he answered it! BTW, with the surgery it was said that I had a 36% (where do they get these numbers) chance to make it 3 years. Please know that Diane and I will pray without ceasing for Brenda’s full recovery. Thank you for your courage in sharing this with us.

Heavely Father, it is in the name of your Son, Jesus Christ I join countless others in the quest to enforce Barbara’s healing wrought on the Cross of Jesus our Lord and Saviour.

I am agreeing with you in prayer. This is agreement with the Word of God that “by His stripes we ARE healed.” It’s already bought and paid for. Like buying a new appliance at Sears. You go in the store, pick out your item, pay for it. It’s yours but you still have to take your paperwork, drive around to the pick-up dock and get your item. It’s already yours but you have to go pick it up. God intends for healing to be ours just as much as salvation is ours. Jesus already paid for it. I am believing with you.

Micheal, last week I read your posting in which you said you would not allow your experience to define what God can and can not do. You would believe the Bible.
Now I took to that word and came to the Lord with a slipped disk and sprained hand since July 2009. It was no longer allowing me to bend. On the night of the 30 Oct 2009, I received my healing. When I testified of it on 31st Oct at Church, Satan sought to bring it back. I rejected that. On 3rd Nov, I testified to a friend and that night the pain returned. I rejected it. Since then, the pain has gone. Should it return after this posting, I will reject it.
Be violent for it and take hold of that which Christ has already laid hold of. I have sent this message after praying for you in Yeshua’s mighty Name.

The doctor called me in and he said he didn’t want to give me this news, but it’s “Cancer” - inoperable, a blood cancer - I was for a second mortified, but then the scripture; lest a seed fall to the ground and die ! I was a believer but still afraid and found myself doubting. A week later my wife came home and asked if she could anoint me and pray over me - in tears I said “of course” ; I have a deep faith in Christ but when the problem hits home - my question was this; Can God really heal me ? and the answer was a resounding YES! Then the question was “is it in his will for me to be restored to temporal health ? That was the tough one… because it doesn’t matter what scripture I read, or what some well meaning person says to me, the question was What is God’s Will for Leonard, not what was Leonards will for Leonard ? and I couldn’t answer that.
The next verse that came to me had to do with a seed falling into the ground and dying in order that it could bring forth the beauty that God had implanted in it; I had to be willing to Die in order to Live and even with that I still didn’t know for certain if it was Gods will for me to Live; I had to give it over to God.
My prayer was that God would restore my health, nevertheless not as I will let His Will be done!
It wasn’t until I was ready to Die that I received the affirmation that God was interceeding in my illness…. I had to give over my life, totally surrender, in order to receive the beautiful gift God had in store for me.
That’s 9 years ago… It’s a simple concept, but to recieve I had to give… it’s a spiritual truth that we often loose site of. The truth is that God Loves your wife more than you do - and HIS will be done and whatever that will is it will be the right thing; my prayer is that if it is in his will he restore her physical health as he has promised to the church; as the Centurian said to Christ; If you have said it let it be done!
1. Anoint her with oil
2. Lay Your hands upon her
3. Have her confess between her and the Lord any unconfessed sin
4. Leave the outcome in HIS Hands
I will stand with you in asking the Lord to return her to you and to worldly health, Thy will be done !
My heart is with you - I can relate to your Love for your wife and Know that if I were on your end I would be wanting my way - but I will pray James 5 as the Lords word on the matter;

It is hard for us (with finite thinking) to understand the ways of God, but He is in control. What an opportunity for testimony!!! We too often praise God when we are blessed, but not often when we see adversity. Thank you for your courage to share this with us all. We, corporately, will lift you and Brenda before the throne of grace to a Father that loves beyond comprehension, and has wonderful plans for you both!

I struggle with a number of issues of faith, however one area in which I have absolute confidence and faith and belief is the power of prayer!
We as members of one body pray that this tumor be absorbed and that every cell in Brenda would come into submission to the perfect healing power and authority of Jehova Rophe’.

Lord God.. we know that all things work together for good .. we know that you are our healer… that it was by your blood shed on the Cross and the stripes you took on the cross, that set us free from sin sickness and disease.. Lord we lift Brenda up to you Lord.. we lift her up into your presence.. your Kingdom come your will be done on earth as it is in heaven… that means nothing missing nothing broken.. it means all sickness must leave her body.. Lord… all tumors must leave her body.. by your word we cut out all tumors.. all cancer all sickness from her body.. In the mighty name of Jesus.. Amen…

I would take all healing that i’ve experienced and boldly ask our Lord to appropriate it for your wife’s healing. That she may have peace and long life. We serve the God of the impossibilities. Mt 19:26 But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
Our God can do it again and again, He’s the same God today as He always has been. The walk through the valley of death is intense but its a walk ‘through’, there is a way out and His name is Jesus!

He will heal ALL our diseases. Wait on His Word.
Anoint Brenda with pure essential oils. Many have healed themselves thereby. The oils are God’s medicine for His people, they are not for the world. I can send an article with more info on the specific oils to use.

Michael, I understand what it is like to suffer. Unfortunatly, my former spouse suffered with kidney failure. Man, did I have faith, I asked God if I could donate my kidney to her, I felt no one at the time understand her suffering, neither her brothers or sisters. I got my prayer answered. Have Faith in God he WILL provide. I know it is hard - very hard. It will be okay Brother. Keep going, you will see! I regularly go to Bethel Church in Redding CA where Bill Johnson pastors, because they have such a powerful anointing and presence of God there. They have seen MANY miraculous healings in the past few years, particularly with cancer, as that is a target of theirs in the spiritual realm.
They had a woman healed of a cancerous tumor in her head a week ago Saturday…she was in the healing room receiving prayer, gazing at a picture, when her tunnel vision cleared and liquid ran out of her ear…her tumor was gone.
I will pray for you guys, that your wife will experience the healing power of God in her life.

My prayers have gone up to our heavenly Father, with whom there is no darkness or shadow of turning. He is who He says He is, He does what He says He will do. He is the Way out of this dark hole; He is the proof of the Truth of His Word and He is the Life, the long healthy life you will live.
You will not die, you will live and declare the glory of he Lord. The enemy hates your message. He has always hated God’s message. But, alas he is a liar and is lying again in this instance. You must know if it is coming from satan it is a lie. So, you can believe the opposite of what satan has to say which is God’s word. God’s word is always love and truth! God can not lie.

When you can smell the enemys breath upon you it is so devestating.His hatred for us is most incredible.
As the arrows of the evil one fly all around you, Remember Jesus Christ is your shield and buckler.He is the lifter of our heads.
The season of testing is so very hard and so personal yet we can make it we can survive the shaking. You will be above the snake line. You will overcome because of Gods love.

This does not surprise me because the devil comes immediately to steal the word. When you’ve done all to stand you keep standing. We will be praying for full recovery. By the stripes of Jesus your wife is healed. Soak yourselves in the word and take communion daily.

The Devil is a Liar!! Do not except this report from the doctors. I totally understand what you are going through in the natural seems unbeatable. But I’ve fought off a bad report of my own of terminal cancer through out my body including spine and all bones,liver lung lymphnode, stomach, panceas. They gave me 6 months… that was two years ago and I am doing great. Never had chemo, and the Lord had directed me not too. I know thats not the right choice for others.but it was where God lead me. So know above all the battle is spiritural. Put on the full armor of God and Stand. On the days you feel lke you can’t do it alone remember the body of christ will be there to help you stand.
Exodus 17:12-13 I will help you in the spiritual battle and hold you and your wife up in prayer. When you get weak or doubt immediately bind that spirit of doubt and stand on the word. It is a battle and somedays you feel like your winning and some days you feel like your falling behind. But never forget…IT WAS FINISHED ON THE CROSS.
You hit the nail on the head. The Enemy is trying to stop what you are doing with teaching the truth. Praise the Lord the battle has already been won 2000 years ago and you know the truth.
God will use this event to push you deeper into his word and spirit. And when the battle is over. you will be a testimony for the masses.
Never put down your sword, even when its hard. FYI it will be harder for your wife to hold the sword of the word when she isn’t feeling great. So stand firm and do it for her.
Bind those lieing spirits and move into your destiny. I plead the blood of Jesus over your wife and you Michael now and know that I know she is healed in JESUS name!

I am sorry to hear of your wife’s diagnosis and I am praying for you and her - as I am sure everyone who reads this blog is doing.
About 15 years ago my mother in law had a similar diagnosis - the initial medical provider she met with gave her the same “no hope” diagnosis. By God’s grace she sought another opinion at the Cleveland Clinic - Cleveland, Ohio. The the doctors had a cautiously optimistic outlook for her recovery - a total 180 from the feedback we recieved from the first Doctor. To make a long story short - she was operated on successfully, and thank God, she is still with us today and in good health. I am confident that our prayers led us to these doctors who have successfully performed many similar procedures.
Yes Jesus does heal - he has gifted many doctors with the skills to heal fix and repair or remove things that are not good for he body. Seek more opinions - you are a smart man - I am sure you have. The Cleveland Clinic is wolrd remowned for it’s medical care and cancer treatment - it may be God’s will that your wife is healed in this way.

Even when our faith faulters - God’s word remains the same. When we speak or say, we will stand on God’s word and not on a doctor’s report, I truely believe he honors that all the same. When we are weak - he makes us strong. Satan does not waste his time on people who are heading for destruction, he targets people like you and I who long to see massive changes for the ‘Growth & Expansion’ of God’s Kingdom. Even in our darkest hour, God is “Sovereign” over us personally and all of our circumstance’s. Thank you for the courage to share this with all of us. I am standing with all of the others in prayer that Brenda is already healed, the tumor is gone and it will have no ill effect on her body. You took a bold step and published your position on the complete and accurate Word of God in His healing power and now He is allowing the enemy to test your faith.

I read your emails regularly and am blessed by them. I stand in agreement with you in the word of God. “By His stripes you were healed”. One of the best explanations I’ve had of this is from Curry Blake of John G. Lake Ministries. Jesus Christ paid the price for our healing 2,000 years ago. The devil has taken up residence illegally (i.e., sickness, disease.) Our job is to command the devil to go. If a squatter set up a tent on your property, you would have every right to kick him off your property. God Bless

Hi Michael and Brenda.
In the natural this is terrible news. In the spiritual this is exciting news! When we ask God to give us patience, we get stuck in traffic. When we speak out about God’s faithfulness and us trusting Him for more, or in a greater way, like you have been doing, something happens in our lives which to most people appears tragic.
This is a test for you both, as well as a witness to God’s authority, power, faithfulness and love. God has given you a ministry which stretches around the world, including here in Australia. He is raising His church in these days to establish His Kingdom, as per His plans. We are called to be a light to a world which seems to be getting ever darker. Be strong and courageous, for it is you who will cause this people to inherit the Land that He has sworn to give them.
We are entering strange times, but our God is above all things! This battle of yours truly does belong to the Lord God Almighty, and He WILL be glorified through this. Be strong and courageous, do not fear and do not lose resolve, for your God is with you wherever you go.
My prayers are also with you both. What an amazing and powerful thing that people from around the world can be united in prayer for a particular matter. May God be glorified through this, and may you see that He is taking you both higher up that mountain called faith.

Dear Michael and Brenda,
Jesus commanded illnesses to be healed. We as children of the most High God Who has made heaven and earth, stand in authority through Jesus Christ our Savior and command this mass behind her right eye to be healed in Jesus’ Name!
I believe Brenda shall be healed!
With the teachings you wrote about healing recently, you were prepared for this and now, you will see His hand move on your behalf. Holy Spirit has brought two scriptures to me with regards to Brenda’s healing.
1. “Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven. Mat. 10:32
2. “Do not fear, for you will not be ashamed; Neither be disgraced, for you will not be put to shame; Isa. 54:4a
Please read Isa 54. as I believe the Lord is saying that He is going to expand the two of you after her healing and that this illness will not destroy but will be the door through which you will walk into greater works for which He has called and destined you to fulfill.
Johan and I will keep you and Brenda in our prayers and stand with you in faith knowing that He, Who promises to reveal His Glory through you, will complete the work, for which He has called both of you to do.
May Holy Spirit increase your measure of faith during these times and know that Jesus speaks the Word and heaven and earth must obey. I believe that He has already spoken that healing command in heaven and that it will manifest in her body!

PRAYER REQUEST
Dear Prayer Warriors,
I need you to stand and agree with me for total and complete recovery for Baby Kegen who will soon be living in my home. An 18-year old pregnant single Mom (Allie) moved in with me 10 days ago. She has been in the foster care system since 12 and her foster Mom found my roommate posting on Craigslist. This is what I have been praying for! It was a “God-thing” from the beginning and God has blessed this young Mom in so many ways. Her birth process was long and somehow the baby did not get enough oxygen and the doctors are saying there is brain damage - however we are not agreeing with this diagnosis! He was delivered C section and the next day put into a coma to stop further brain damage. They are both still in the hospital and Allie has not been able to touch him yet. She is distraught as any Mother would be.
Please send love and light to this baby and prayers to God for total and complete recovery. We claim this experience will be a testimony to everyone of God’s power and mercy and grace. Please pray for perfect peace and strength for Allie.
I am so excited to have another new Mom and baby living with me. I asked for family and God has blessed me with this!

THE ANSWER
The prayers of the saints have been answered! Thank you so much for your prayers for this 2-week old baby! He arrived home from the hospital last night and today I got to hold him for the 1st time - he is so cute. The doctor is “cautiously optimistic” that he is completely healed - now this is a miracle because this child in his short life has overcome seizures, blood clots on his spinal chord, a 3-day induced coma, lack of movement, muscle spasms, inability to suck/breathe/swallow at the same time, abnormal EEG’s, and lack of crying (never thought I would pray for a baby to cry, but Praise God he is crying now!!). Jesus has shown mercy and kindness - because of our collective faith and belief in miracles, this baby has been made well. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Prayer is the MOST important thing we can do in our times of need. I pray all of you will be blessed because you have been a blessing.

Michael and Brenda - Your faith will make you well. All 27 times Jesus healed in the bible was due to faith and belief. I pray your faith will become super-human and you will be healed!!! Am reminded of Joel Olsteen’s Mom’s diagnosis and her incessant quoting of healing scriptures until the diagnosis changed and she was healed - that was decades ago….

I am sorry to hear about your wife’s health challenge, but God has a pathway for healing. Sometimes it is through physicians, sometimes through natural healing, but always through prayer to Jehovah Rapha, The Healer. I would ask you to look into the science of glycobiology, which can be found with a company called Mannatech. I will be praying for you two, and ask for complete restoration. May God bless you.

You have proclaimed God’s will on the earth as it is in the heavens, God’s Kingdom on the earth as it is in the heavens - now Jesus, manifest your life into Brenda and Michael. God’s will and Kingdom in Brenda, into that mass and may destruction come into that invader and it be gone in the name and authority of Jesus Christ.

Michael… As with the many others, I am standing in prayer of agreement with you and Brenda.
I had not been to a doctor for almost a decade once I learned about God being my Healer, and learned how to stand in faith against sickness and disease.
In March of 2003, I started boldly preaching that God wants you well. I preached a sermon at one church where the message was well received (many there had not heard He wants us well).
Shortly after, I was assaulted head-on with much illness, infection, and pain. It was straight from the pit of hell. Depression and despair almost did me in, because the attacks were so relentless. But, I made a decision - as it appears you have - that NO MATTER WHAT God’s Word is true and it must be shouted from the mountaintops!
Psalm 40:9-10
9 I proclaim righteousness in the great assembly;
I do not seal my lips,
as you know, O LORD.
10 I do not hide your righteousness in my heart;
I speak of your faithfulness and salvation.
I do not conceal your love and your truth
from the great assembly.

Your response of love and prayers for Michael and Brenda has been amazing and greatly appreciated. The influx of so many responses in such a short period of time has caused us to overload our servers. We have been given grace to fix the problem, before having our e-mail service shut off entirely.
