Yesterday we aired a terrific free teleseminar featuring Rich Marshall of ROi Leadership International.
Many of you wrote to tell us you couldn’t make the appointment but wanted the chance to listen to Rich talk about what he calls “Strategic Planning With the Holy Ghost.” Well, as it turned out, we had unprecedented technical problems on the broadcast affecting the sound quality.
Here’s the Good News!
Thankfully, there was a recording system that managed to get good audio. Our technicians were even able to clean it up further, so hopefully when you listen to the replay you won’t even be able to tell that there was ever a problem.
If you were one of the many who could hear clearly, then you already know that what Rich had to share was phenomenal. The feedback we’ve received already has been excellent! Rich went above and beyond and shared some of the results that they are achieving implementing Spirit-oriented, Biblically-based training in businesses (and even government entities!) that may not even realize they are being discipled!
So… if you haven’t heard it yet, or want to listen to a clear recording at your convenience, click here now.
Also, so many people have inquired about the Comprehensive Executive Profile that includes a one-on-one consultation with Rick, that I wanted to make sure you knew where you can find it. Here’s where to learn more or to sign up for this special opportunity.
I want to personally apologize for any inconvenience you experienced yesterday and if you weren’t able to attend yesterday, invite you today to enjoy this very special teleseminar with Rich Marshall.
I look forward to hearing your feedback about the call.
Blessings,
Michael

The reason I have asked Debra to post a few blogs on our site is because I know how phenomenally successful she has been. Not only do some of the biggest names in business call upon her for marketing assistance like Mark Victor Hansen, co-author of Chicken Soup for the Soul, Robert Allen, author of Nothing Down and Multiple Streams of Income, Robert Kiyosaki, author of Rich Dad Poor Dad and even Donald Trump!
But when she speaks at internet marketing conferences all over the world she communicates with such humility that people are drawn not only to her and her message but also to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She has made her mark in the secular arena being a bright light in a dark world and I have asked her to share her light with all of us so we in turn could light up the sphere we are called to work in. What you are about to read in this blog is just a tiny sample of what she will be sharing next Tuesday, July 1st at 9:00 PM EDT. If you have ever wanted to have access to top level internet marketer who also has a love for Jesus Christ, be sure to set an hour aside next Tuesday evening. Now, here’s Debra…
How To Make Sure Your Business FAILS! (Part 3 of 3)
Hi welcome back to my mini-training on “How To Make Sure Your Business Fails.” If you haven’t read my posts from Monday and Tuesday, go back and do that now because they lay the foundation for this next bit of key information I want to share with you and that is building your Marketing Funnel through Information Marketing. This is how to keep your marketing continuous while building a relationship with your customer and so they come back for more and more.
Your greatest opportunity to ensure your business does not fail and instead it succeeds… is to generate other opportunities for your customer to buy from you. The easiest way to do that is with Information Marketing.
First let me define what Information Marketing is…
Information Marketing is all about publishing your ideas, knowledge and information and selling it in the form of information products. You turn your ideas into Wealth… and let me tell you there is a lot of money you can make in Information Marketing.
Did you know that last year 145 Million people spent over $108 BILLION DOLLARS Online! Where did all that money go? To Information Marketing. You see I don’t care what your business is… whether you sell products or services. When it comes to the Internet it is all first Information. From there you sell to your target market.
Types of Information Products…
One of the greatest opportunities you have right now is to make money with information you know by providing solutions… more solutions for your customers. There are all types of solutions and they can be provided in a variety of different deliver methods. I call them Clicks and Bricks. Here let me briefly show you an example of what you could provide to your customers…

Imagine training your customers and taking them to the next level with your information!
Whether you are in business and want to accelerate your revenue by adding information products… or you want to build an Information Marketing business as another revenue stream… then I invite you to attend my webinar on July 1, 2008 at 9:00 PM EDT. All the details will be sent out to you shortly so be on the look out. I’ve got so much to teach you about this amazing business and how you can make a ton of money. Be sure to have a pen and paper ready when I teach… because I will be teaching you some key marketing principles from my BULLSEYE Marketing Accelerator System. I’m looking forward to teaching you and helping you to make a difference on Tuesday, July 1st!
Watch this space for registration information very soon!

Have you heard of Mark Victor Hansen, co-author of Chicken Soup for the Soul? How about Robert Allen, author of Nothing Down and Multiple Streams of Income… maybe even Robert Kiyosaki, author of Rich Dad Poor Dad… okay come on here… One more: how about Donald Trump, you know that real estate guru? Well.. what do these folks all have in common? It is our guest Debra Thompson Roedl! She has either worked behind the scenes on the inside circle for these millionaires or she has positioned her clients to work with them. Either way the results speak for themselves and that is what you should pay close attention to. Because you see… the information that Debra shared in her post yesterday and is continuing today is exactly what she does for these millionaires to take them to the next level.
Let me break this System down here for you briefly…
Step 1 - READY… Plan: You see to be successful in your business you must get “Ready” first… meaning you must PLAN. And, I’m not talking about just any type of planning… what I’m referring to is STRATEGIC PLANNING.
If You Fail To Plan… You Are Planning To Fail!
It amazes me to this day when I am brought on board to help someone with their business how they have neglected to perform this one key step… It begs the question, “If you don’t have a plan and know what you are shooting for… how are you going to know if you hit your target?”
Step 2 - AIM… Research: It is not enough to strategically plan your business you must research your target market and niche to determine the answer to two key questions:
- Is It A Viable Market? Meaning can you make money in it?… is there too much competition?… is there an opportunity for you?… can you differentiate yourself in the market?… etc.
- What Is The Need? Before you go into any market, you first determine what is the greatest need in the market place… what do the people NEED? In business it is your job to fulfill the needs of your market. It is not what YOU want… it is what THEY want.
Step 3 - FIRE… Produce: Based upon foundation you built in Steps 1 and 2, now you can start building your business and produce the SOLUTION for your market’s needs. Your solutions could come in the form of products, services, information, trainings, etc.
Step 4 - BULLSEYE! It is easier and more cost effective to sell a solution now to someone in need than to create a problem, convince someone it is a problem and then try to fix it with your products and/or services. When you provide YOUR Solution (your product and/or service) you will hit the bullseye of your target market and make sales. More sales = more money in your pocket.
BOTTOMLINE: Marketing is the key to success and making money in your business. If you want to hear more about my System and how it can take you to the next level… even how you can use it to generate additional streams of revenue for your business, then I invite you to listen in on a special webinar training that Michael has graciously invited me to teach to you.
OK folks, mark your calendar right now: the webinar with Debra is going to be next Tuesday, July 1st at 9:00 PM EDT. More details on the training will be provided to you as we get closer. I’ll tell you this right now, though: it will be presented absolutely FREE. Watch your inbox for updates. In the meantime, don’t miss tomorrow’s message from Deb, as she goes into your Marketing Funnel and how to build a relationship with your customer so they buy from you time and time again.

My fellow marketplace warriors…
Here is the invitation I promised you to join me for a meeting this week. If you’ve been with us for a while, you’ll recall that we held a meeting with David (whose marketing thoughts you’ve probably been reading recently) just a few months ago and had an overwhelming response.
If you’re a newer subscriber, you may not yet be aware that our mission is to help believers worldwide build successful businesses so they can in turn (with their profits and influence) make a significant and lasting impact on the culture within which we live. How you make that difference is up to you. Helping you succeed in that calling is our privilege and our mission.
20-Fold Increase…
Recently, I was evaluating some statistical information related to our business. It seems like it wasn’t all that long ago (in fact, it was just a couple of years ago) that I was getting excited about the 1,000 or 2,000 visitors coming to our website every month. When I saw the more recent information, I found out that we’re averaging 10,000 visitors to our site every single week! This has been due, in large part, to the efforts of
David Johnson from Epiphany Marketing, who we retained just over a year ago to help us expand our reach.
Even more than multiplying the number of visitors, what has excited me is when I found out why they’re finding us… David showed me how to view the terms that people are typing into search engines like Google in order to find us. Wow! It’s amazing how well-targeted the results are. We are connecting more than ever with the people who need what we have to offer.
David wants to share information with you…
…about how you can experience similar results. And, more importantly, how to apply timeless marketing strategy to every facet of your business so that you’re best prepared to create relationships with the people you are reaching out to. In fact, David would also like to introduce some of the people he’s been training for the last couple of months so you can hear directly from them about what they’ve been learning.
David and I have set aside several time slots Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday to discuss specific strategies to help you experience similar results. This is not for everyone, but if you want to grow your business using 21st-century strategies, you are welcome to join us. Register here now so you can be sure to reserve your spot on one of these conference calls. (As always, we are limited on the number of callers we can have on each conference call, so it’s a first-come, first-served basis.)
Warmest regards…
Michael Q. Pink
P.S. I know you probably checked your calendar previously, but I urge you to choose your best meeting time now… these calls will fill up quickly!

My fellow marketplace warriors…
I want to invite a few of you to a special conference call at the end of this week. Let me tell you why and then please let me know if you can make it. As you may know, our mission is to help believers worldwide build successful businesses so they can in turn (with their profits and influence) make a significant and lasting impact on the culture within which we live. How you make that difference is up to you. Helping you succeed in that calling is our privilege and our mission.
A mere 18 months ago…
Our business was dependent on me going out somewhere in the world and doing consulting or training. Product sales were minimal and not much of a focus. The revenues generated through our website were limited to five or six hundred dollars per month. Insignificant. I began applying some of the rainforest lessons to business and it grew substantially. Then we retained on a consulting basis,
David Johnson of Epiphany Consulting to really help us establish a long term, reliably growing stream of income using the internet.
Last quarter what used to be less than a couple thousand dollars per quarter, was over $100,000 using the internet. That’s 50-fold increase! Our ranking on search engines has also improved significantly, our number of e-mail subscribers has more than doubled, and many good things are occurring. I know there are many of you who could benefit from his knowledge so I asked him last week if he would be willing to get on a conference call with me and share some of his wisdom and experience with you. He agreed with one stipulation…
He wants to focus his input…
…on folks who have an established business or who are responsible for generating leads or demand for an established enterprise. For example, one of his clients is a specialist in the medical profession who got virtually no business off his website and was skeptical that people would come to him via the internet. But… he was wasting money on ineffective advertising and he knew it. About a year later, over 50% of his patients find him from the internet, due to the help David was able to provide.
David and I have set aside several time slots this Thursday and Friday to discuss specific strategies to help you experience similar results.
Michael Q. Pink
P.S. Get your calendar out and choose your best meeting time now… these calls will fill up quickly!

Today, we continue with guest content from David G. Johnson of Epiphany Marketing.
Yesterday, we talked about getting clear on your identity. Knowing who you are is absolutely fundamental to marketing - no matter what business you’re in. So… what business are you really in?
The Starbucks example is a fun one (thanks for the great feedback, by the way). They definitely sell coffee. They make a variety of beverages. Legal addictive stimulants are in virtually every beverage they make (does anyone really buy decaf?). And they truly create an experience designed to bring pleasure to the senses… to truly entertain. Of course, this is the factor that adds the most value to the commodity they sell and… yes, it’s why people pay more than they have to pay every single day. Starbucks customers are not buying just a commodity. Are yours?
Given that they could key off of any of those options (there isn’t a “wrong” one in the list), do you see the far-reaching implications of their choice? That simple, critical decision will determine virtually everything about the marketing decisions they make. And yet, simple as it is, when you’re working on this for your own business, this step can be one of the most difficult. Why? Because most of us are dealing with some degree of fuzziness about our identity.
If you are fuzzy about your identity… how can your customers and future customers possibly be clear that you are the right choice to meet their needs? Fuzzy logic may be great in mathematics, but in marketing it’s deadly. It’s the difference between nailing the bullseye and missing the target entirely.
Don’t make another marketing decision until you settle this essential question. You’ll get your best results on this work when you pair up with someone outside your business who can serve as a “sounding board.” As my clients and trainees have all heard me say, you can’t read the label from inside the bottle.
Tomorrow: who are your customers?
Don’t miss the upcoming conference call on marketing that David and I will be holding. All the details will be in your inbox shortly!

Contentment is good. In fact, very good. However there is also a problem with the concept people attach to contentment. It seems to me that too many people are content leading lives of little accomplishment, small thinking and mediocrity. They say they are content with their meager lives, preferring instead a life of spiritual pursuit or at least the form thereof.
I think spiritual pursuit is good, but without a material, physical, tangible impact, the benefit is often quite limited. In other words, unless the spiritual pursuit results in meaningful, observable change, has it really been a worthwhile pursuit? James said that our faith, if it has no works, is dead. Works can be seen. God is Spirit, but he loved us so much that the Spirit became flesh and dwelt among us and did stuff. Lots of stuff.
While spiritual pursuit can result in tangible benefits like a solid marriage, strong character, good work ethic, etc., all of which are good, where are the warriors among us who want more than basic godly living which is our reasonable service? I for one am weary of low living, small thinking, and average accomplishment. I think we can do better. And I am not speaking of how much “stuff” we can accumulate. That is small thinking! I want us to impact nations, direct policy, own the media, build and staff the universities, control vast financial reserves and use them for good. How about you?
On a related note, I know most of you received the information we sent out last week with a special offer for the first 500 people to order the Christian Wealth Building seminar we did with Rich Church — Poor Church author, John Muratori. Click here for details. We are already getting back raving reviews of the life-changing content so I urge you to take advantage of the offer before we run through those first 500. Look at the blog comments from Kara Harris if you need a little fire starter!

I was doing some training yesterday for a rapidly growing company in the real estate acquisition business. Their sales process, when done right, results in multiple multi-million dollar transactions on a monthly basis. In order for that to happen, however, a number of other things must be executed well.
I explained that in the rainforest there are a number of factors that combine to make it so abundant and fruitful. Three factors that stand out are specialization, cooperation and communication. Specialization as has been pointed out by Adam Smith in his book, “An Inquiry into the Nature and Causes of the Wealth of Nations” leads to highly increased productivity. Henry Ford understood this principle and in a time when there were hundreds of car manufacturers in the U.S. employing craftsmen to build cars from beginning to end, he was the first to introduce the assembly line where every man specialized in one task or another and the results revolutionized the world.
So the first question you might want to ask yourself is whether or not the process of your business, or even your very own sales process, can be broken down into steps and assigned to specialists. A significant determining factor has to do with the market potential. If one man by himself can build an automobile in a month, but a hundred men on an assembly line can build 100 per day, it makes sense to hire 100 men - if there is sufficient demand for the end product.
What we found with the folks I was working with yesterday is that specialization increases productivity exponentially and it can with you too. However, there is another catch that can derail the best laid plans… It has to do with three things: (1) Are the specialists suitable for the task they are specializing in, (2) Is there cooperation between the specialists and (3) Besides the spirit of cooperation, there needs to be a flow of information/communication to facilitate the cooperation or it will never occur and you will end up with a very high payroll with limited results.
Until next time… Be fruitful, then multiply!

“Thus says the LORD to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have held, to subdue nations before him; and I will (1) loose the armor of kings,(2) to open before him the two-leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut; (Isaiah 45:1-2)
This verse speaks of Babylon, the strongest most fortified city in the known world at that time. There were 100 gates to the city and they were made of bronze. No point in hurling flaming arrows at that. No point in using a battering ram either. It was impenetrable. Everyone knew that, even Cyrus. But that didn’t deter him. (Note: I said the seeming impossibility of the task, DID NOT deter Cyrus).

Do you want God to bless your business efforts? First of all, find out what God is blessing and get involved in that. Secondly, give Him something to bless. Too many people are paralyzed by uncertainty and hesitancy. Instead of giving God something to bless, they wait on the blessing before they proceed. It doesn’t work that way. The Scripture says, “Give and you shall receive,” not “Receive and you shall give”.
