In Case You Missed It!

August 13th, 2008

Yesterday we aired a terrific free teleseminar featuring Rich Marshall of ROi Leadership International.

Many of you wrote to tell us you couldn’t make the appointment but wanted the chance to listen to Rich talk about what he calls “Strategic Planning With the Holy Ghost.” Well, as it turned out, we had unprecedented technical problems on the broadcast affecting the sound quality.

Here’s the Good News!

Thankfully, there was a recording system that managed to get good audio. Our technicians were even able to clean it up further, so hopefully when you listen to the replay you won’t even be able to tell that there was ever a problem.

If you were one of the many who could hear clearly, then you already know that what Rich had to share was phenomenal. The feedback we’ve received already has been excellent! Rich went above and beyond and shared some of the results that they are achieving implementing Spirit-oriented, Biblically-based training in businesses (and even government entities!) that may not even realize they are being discipled!

So… if you haven’t heard it yet, or want to listen to a clear recording at your convenience, click here now.

Also, so many people have inquired about the Comprehensive Executive Profile that includes a one-on-one consultation with Rick, that I wanted to make sure you knew where you can find it. Here’s where to learn more or to sign up for this special opportunity.

I want to personally apologize for any inconvenience you experienced yesterday and if you weren’t able to attend yesterday, invite you today to enjoy this very special teleseminar with Rich Marshall.

I look forward to hearing your feedback about the call.

Blessings,

Michael

Strategic Planning with the Holy Ghost - Part 2

August 11th, 2008

I have asked Rich Marshall to host a couple of blogs. He is an internationally recognized speaker, trainer and author with over 40 years experience in bringing out peak performance in others. His clients are a virtual who’s who of corporate America. He has developed a new breed of corporate leadership training you will want to know more about. It’s called the E.P.I.C. Training System, a classic leadership development program and a remarkable proprietary system built on 7 foundational areas of human performance improvement. Now, here’s Rich…

Strategic Planning with the Holy Ghost - Part 2

Rich Marshall, CEO of ROI LeadershipOver the last several years I have had the privilege of working with dozens of enterprises in the planning process. Coming from a background of pastoring (I did this for 35 years) I was very accustomed to seeking help from the Lord, especially in asking the indwelling Holy Spirit to help. However I found that most executives, even Christian executives, do not take advantage of this competitive edge. For some reason, when it comes to planning most of it falls into one of two categories:

1.      A full reliance on the Holy Spirit; with lots of faith and prayer and trust involved. In most of these cases; there is little practical, commonsense and time tested and proven strategic planning ingenuity used. It is as if it would not be full of faith if good planning methods were employed.

2.      A full reliance on proven strategic planning methods; with much attention given to the planning process, using all of the most up-to-date methods available. In most of these cases; there is little or no input from the Holy Spirit. It is as if it would be “poor business” to include Him here.

Therefore I am encouraging Christian business leaders to integrate all of their business life under the heading: My business is my ministry. When we do that, we will be much more likely to include the Lord in all that we do; especially the planning process.

Here are some thought provoking ideas to assist you in the integration process.

  • All that you do is a spiritual activity. Both business and church are ministry and both should be treated as a way of fulfilling your God given purpose in life.
  • It is so easy to fall into presumption and call it walking by the spirit. In other words, we assume that since we are Christian and prayed in the morning, that everything that happens during the day has been orchestrated by God. I have found that Charismatics are probably most guilty. By the way: leaders are not exempt.
  • Prov. 16:3 “Commit your work to the LORD, and then your plans will succeed.”
  • Did this plan or strategy arise out of dependence on and hearing the voice of God during the process?
  • Marketplace ministers need to watch out here. We are sometimes so intent on losing Christian-ese that we forget to use planning opportunities to engage the Holy Spirit.
  • Consciously, from a place of dependence, invite God into your planning process. Don’t leave Him out.

Strategic Planning with the Holy Ghost Part 1

August 7th, 2008

I have asked Rich Marshall to host the next couple of blogs.

Strategic Planning with the Holy Ghost - Part 1

Rich Marshall, CEO of ROI LeadershipI know it should not be this way, and yet I know that it is. For some reason many Christian business leaders have not come to full realization that God knows everything about business. Where do we get the idea that God can help with relationships, raising kids, understanding the “deep things” of life, but that He does not know about business? Where did we miss out on the fact that all “business principles” were “Biblical principles” before they were “business principles”?

OK, so I am not sure where the misguided idea came from, but I do have a few thoughts on the matter. You see, I come into the business world and its way of thinking from decades in the church world and its way of thinking. I was a Pastor, and I love pastors and support them and believe in them and all of that good stuff, so don’t think I am being overly negative on pastors. But here is what has happened. The pastor gives his testimony and it goes something like this: “I was working in that evil, bad, nasty, sinful world. And then God called me, and now I am in fulltime ministry.”

All good, all true, all intended to be motivating. The problem is not as much with what is said, as it is with what the businessperson hears. When they hear something like this, they conclude that one must leave the evil business world to go into full time ministry. They also hear that one who is truly “called” becomes a pastor. It leads to a mindset that thinks work is “secular” and church is “spiritual.”

So now, when this business person goes to work, he or she is already thinking this is my secular life. This is not spiritual, and therefore God must have nothing to do with my work. Therefore, I will live with a different set of rules here, and I will not engage God at work.

This is so far from the truth! God created us to work! God blesses us when we work. He has promised over and over again to bless the work of our hands. Work is a spiritual activity and should be seen as ministry, an event that God wants to be involved in at every level.

I love to teach people how to listen to God at work; to watch them engage with Him on a daily basis at work. It is a joy to watch what happens when we include the Holy Spirit in our planning and activities at work. In fact, one of the more popular offerings that we have in our list of services to business leaders is what we call “Strategic Planning with the Holy Ghost.”

How To Make Sure Your Business FAILS! (Part 3 of 3)

June 25th, 2008

The reason I have asked Debra to post a few blogs on our site is because I know how phenomenally successful she has been. Not only do some of the biggest names in business call upon her for marketing assistance like Mark Victor Hansen, co-author of Chicken Soup for the Soul, Robert Allen, author of Nothing Down and Multiple Streams of Income, Robert Kiyosaki, author of Rich Dad Poor Dad and even Donald Trump!

But when she speaks at internet marketing conferences all over the world she communicates with such humility that people are drawn not only to her and her message but also to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She has made her mark in the secular arena being a bright light in a dark world and I have asked her to share her light with all of us so we in turn could light up the sphere we are called to work in. What you are about to read in this blog is just a tiny sample of what she will be sharing next Tuesday, July 1st at 9:00 PM EDT. If you have ever wanted to have access to top level internet marketer who also has a love for Jesus Christ, be sure to set an hour aside next Tuesday evening. Now, here’s Debra…

How To Make Sure Your Business FAILS! (Part 3 of 3)

Debra Thompson Roedl Hi welcome back to my mini-training on “How To Make Sure Your Business Fails.” If you haven’t read my posts from Monday and Tuesday, go back and do that now because they lay the foundation for this next bit of key information I want to share with you and that is building your Marketing Funnel through Information Marketing. This is how to keep your marketing continuous while building a relationship with your customer and so they come back for more and more.

Your greatest opportunity to ensure your business does not fail and instead it succeeds… is to generate other opportunities for your customer to buy from you. The easiest way to do that is with Information Marketing.

First let me define what Information Marketing is…

Information Marketing is all about publishing your ideas, knowledge and information and selling it in the form of information products. You turn your ideas into Wealth… and let me tell you there is a lot of money you can make in Information Marketing.

Did you know that last year 145 Million people spent over $108 BILLION DOLLARS Online! Where did all that money go? To Information Marketing. You see I don’t care what your business is… whether you sell products or services. When it comes to the Internet it is all first Information. From there you sell to your target market.

Types of Information Products…

One of the greatest opportunities you have right now is to make money with information you know by providing solutions… more solutions for your customers. There are all types of solutions and they can be provided in a variety of different deliver methods. I call them Clicks and Bricks. Here let me briefly show you an example of what you could provide to your customers…

Examples of information products

Imagine training your customers and taking them to the next level with your information!

Whether you are in business and want to accelerate your revenue by adding information products… or you want to build an Information Marketing business as another revenue stream… then I invite you to attend my webinar on July 1, 2008 at 9:00 PM EDT. All the details will be sent out to you shortly so be on the look out. I’ve got so much to teach you about this amazing business and how you can make a ton of money. Be sure to have a pen and paper ready when I teach… because I will be teaching you some key marketing principles from my BULLSEYE Marketing Accelerator System. I’m looking forward to teaching you and helping you to make a difference on Tuesday, July 1st!

Watch this space for registration information very soon!

How To Make Sure Your Business FAILS! (Part 2)

June 24th, 2008

Have you heard of Mark Victor Hansen, co-author of Chicken Soup for the Soul? How about Robert Allen, author of Nothing Down and Multiple Streams of Income… maybe even Robert Kiyosaki, author of Rich Dad Poor Dad… okay come on here… One more: how about Donald Trump, you know that real estate guru? Well.. what do these folks all have in common? It is our guest Debra Thompson Roedl! She has either worked behind the scenes on the inside circle for these millionaires or she has positioned her clients to work with them. Either way the results speak for themselves and that is what you should pay close attention to. Because you see… the information that Debra shared in her post yesterday and is continuing today is exactly what she does for these millionaires to take them to the next level.

Debra Thompson RoedlLet me break this System down here for you briefly…

Step 1 - READY… Plan: You see to be successful in your business you must get “Ready” first… meaning you must PLAN.  And, I’m not talking about just any type of planning… what I’m referring to is STRATEGIC PLANNING.

If You Fail To Plan… You Are Planning To Fail!

It amazes me to this day when I am brought on board to help someone with their business how they have neglected to perform this one key step… It begs the question, “If you don’t have a plan and know what you are shooting for… how are you going to know if you hit your target?”

Step 2 - AIM… Research: It is not enough to strategically plan your business you must research your target market and niche to determine the answer to two key questions:

  1. Is It A Viable Market? Meaning can you make money in it?… is there too much competition?… is there an opportunity for you?… can you differentiate yourself in the market?… etc.
  2. What Is The Need? Before you go into any market, you first determine what is the greatest need in the market place… what do the people NEED?  In business it is your job to fulfill the needs of your market.  It is not what YOU want… it is what THEY want.

Step 3 - FIRE… Produce: Based upon foundation you built in Steps 1 and 2, now you can start building your business and produce the SOLUTION for your market’s needs.  Your solutions could come in the form of products, services, information, trainings, etc.

Step 4 - BULLSEYE! It is easier and more cost effective to sell a solution now to someone in need than to create a problem, convince someone it is a problem and then try to fix it with your products and/or services.  When you provide YOUR Solution (your product and/or service) you will hit the bullseye of your target market and make sales.   More sales = more money in your pocket.

BOTTOMLINE: Marketing is the key to success and making money in your business.  If you want to hear more about my System and how it can take you to the next level… even how you can use it to generate additional streams of revenue for your business, then I invite you to listen in on a special webinar training that Michael has graciously invited me to teach to you.

OK folks, mark your calendar right now: the webinar with Debra is going to be next Tuesday, July 1st at 9:00 PM EDT. More details on the training will be provided to you as we get closer. I’ll tell you this right now, though: it will be presented absolutely FREE. Watch your inbox for updates. In the meantime, don’t miss tomorrow’s message from Deb, as she goes into your Marketing Funnel and how to build a relationship with your customer so they buy from you time and time again.

How To Make Sure Your Business FAILS!

June 23rd, 2008

Hello Friend,

Before you sink your teeth into today’s excellent content from our guest, I want to quickly call to your mind our survey from a couple of weeks ago. Thank you once again to all of you who participated. I told you then that you would be helping to steer where things go. Today’s message is a direct result of your requests for more information about promoting your business, growing your revenue, and also about locating business opportunities!

The list of people that Debra Thompson Roedl has worked with is replete with names you would recognize were I to mention them. She hasn’t just contributed to their success… in many cases, she is responsible for their success. We’ve been connected with her for a little over a year now and space does not permit me to go into detail about how significant she is to our advancement. I know you’re going to enjoy hearing from her this week.

How To Make Sure Your Business FAILS! (Part 1 of 3)

Debra Thompson RoedlI bet that title grabbed your attention and it should!  With today’s economy you need to do everything you can to ensure that your business SUCCEEDS and does not Fail.  But it is up to you to take action and make it happen!

You see most Christian entrepreneurs who are either starting out in their business or well on their way with their business leave out one key ingredient that can make them or break them and cause them to FAIL.  It is called MARKETING.

These entrepreneurs are not typically trained or educated in marketing.  They don’t even understand how essential marketing is to their business in order for them to start, sustain and/or grow their enterprise.  Can you relate?

In fact… because of this lack of knowledge, the typical business owner’s approach to marketing is “Fire… Aim… and then get “Ready”. And guess what?  They don’t hit the Bullseye with this method.  The less you hit your bullseye, the less money you make and you know what that means… it is just a matter of time before your business fails.  Then what are you going to do?

To ensure success in your business you have to create a new mindset and that is…

Marketing Is A Continuous Process!

Marketing is the foundation of your business and everything else that you do is built upon this foundation.  From your products, to your services, to your customers… marketing is in every aspect of your business and it is a constant process.

When it comes to Marketing your business… I have created a specific System to make sure you succeed and do not fail! It is called the BULLSEYE Marketing Accelerator System.  With this system your approach to your business is Ready, Aim, Fire and then BULLSEYE!

Business Cycle - from Debra Thompson Roedl

OK folks, I hope today’s message from Debra has served to whet your appetite for much more!  Don’t miss Part 2 tomorrow, as she drills down into the 4 key steps in the illustration. I know you’re going to benefit from it!

Michael Q. PinkWhy do the Heathen Prosper?

Because they want to and are not conflicted about it! While the Church debates the entire subject of whether Christians can or should prosper, and if so, then how much is appropriate and what is too much, the rest of the world is not so conflicted and thus control most of the planet’s resources. We think it’s about the car we drive, the home we live in, the clothes we wear, etc. How small minded we have been to have focused on some of the trappings of wealth, while ignoring the larger purpose of wealth which is to establish His covenant. (Deuteronomy 8:18)

The Power to Create Wealth is to Establish the Covenant

If we are Christ’s, then we are Abraham’s seed and heirs according to the promise. God still wants to see His covenant established in our lives, but that won’t happen if we neglect it, are ignorant of it or simply don’t believe or understand it. So here’s a quick overview of the sevenfold promise to us through Abraham. Think of them as opportunities waiting for us to act upon. Allow me to give a 21st-century application to the promises so we can begin to enter into them…

The 7-Fold Promise in the Abrahamic Covenant

  1. “You shall be the father of many nations”: This speaks of creative ability. The ability to create multiple lasting enterprises. This is applied creative ability and those with that gift can change the world. It takes money to turn creativity into a lasting enterprise.
  2. “Your name shall be Abraham”: This speaks of greatly enlarged vision. By changing Abram’s name which meant “high, exalted father” to Abraham, meaning “father of a multitude”, God greatly enlarged his vision. Visionaries will lead the future. It takes money to fund your vision.
  3. “I will make you exceedingly fruitful”: This speaks of abundance. Fruitfulness is self-replicating abundance produced without undue strain but rather by the blessing of God. It takes money to plant that first crop, to open that first office, to publish that first book, etc.
  4. “I will make nations of you”: This speaks of strength. God will equip us with strength that comes from that which every joint supplies in the community of believers we call the Body of Christ. It takes money to form the infrastructure that ties a community together. It takes money to build a community.
  5. “Kings will come from you”: This speaks of leadership and authority. Kings go to war to capture territory or defend what they already have. It takes money to wage war and capture market share.
  6. “I will give to you and to your posterity after you, the land”: This speaks of ownership, wealth. He who controls the land, controls what’s on it. It takes money to acquire land and determine what is allowed to flourish there, whether good or evil.
  7. “I will be their God”: This speaks of lordship. God is our protector, our Lord and our Father. As our Lord, he requires us to be generous, to give to others, to help widows and orphans, support ministries, etc. That also requires money.

Do You Get it Yet?

The purpose of wealth is so we can be like the tree planted by the river, giving fruit in due season and where the fowls of the air find shelter. God wants us to be the head and not the tail, providing shelter to those in need and leadership in everything pertaining to life and godliness. It’s the enemy of our soul that wants us broke and without influence. He would prefer us to bow the knee to him and find shelter under his shade, remain under his sway and not challenge him for control of the planet’s resources. Who are you going to bow to? Make no mistake. This is not about personal possessions as he would have you believe. It’s about influence and who controls the gates or mind molders of the nation. He who controls the gates, controls the city!

No One Understands This Better Than the Jewish People…

Of all the people groups in the world, perhaps none is less conflicted about wealth and influence than the Jewish people. In October 2007, the Jerusalem Post published details of a study done by Vanity Fair which lists “the world’s most powerful people.” According to the publication, “…the top 100 consisted of the bankers and media moguls, publishers and image makers who shape the lives of billions. It’s an exclusive, insular club, one whose influence stretches around the globe but is concentrated strategically in the highest corridors of power.”; 51 of Vanity Fair’s top 100 list are Jewish.

We live in a world where Christians outnumber Jews 400 to 1, yet they occupy 51% of the top 100 most powerful positions on the planet. I believe it is safe to say that we have plenty to learn from the olive tree into which we were grafted and we could start by knowing the covenant and walking it out here and now.

A Seed Change is Coming

It’s time for Christians to regain some of the ground we have vacated and start building schools and colleges that teach economics and finance from a Biblical worldview. It’s time for Christians to stop complaining about the bias in media and starting owning the media! What if we flooded the world with excellent movies like The Passion of the Christ or Facing the Giants instead of complaining about the flood of filth now engulfing society? What if we owned the land? We would have say over what gets built there. But for the most part, we are the tenants, the tail, the beggars in the land. And it’s time for that to change! Poverty is a curse, not a blessing. It’s not so much an outer condition but rather an inner condition fortified by fear resulting in outward lack. If you want to shake poverty off of you, you must first get it out of you. Would you like to know how?

John Muratori, a recognized authority in organizational management and strategic planning, the founder of multiple companies and non-profit corporations as well as being the Senior Pastor of a thriving worship center in Connecticut has written a groundbreaking book called Rich Church - Poor Church. The seminar, done in interview format, explores not only the causes of poverty, but also unveils twelve laws of wealth creation every believer needs to know! We call it Christian Wealth Building – A Candid Look at Rich Church – Poor Church.

The ideas discussed in this seminar are powerful and life transforming and will help you capture the seven gates of influence in your city or nation! November 28th, 2007

As I mentioned in Monday’s blog, I have asked John Muratori, author of the ground breaking book, Rich Church Poor Church, to guest host my blog for a few sessions. His insights are valuable and come from a deep understanding of Scripture and practical, experiential wealth creation. Now, here’s John…

John Louis MuratoriThe Consequences of a Poverty Mentality

From a business perspective, a Poverty Mentality presents a major stumbling block. No business can grow without generating sufficient profits. But from a spiritual perspective, this problem is much more profound.

What Does the Bible Teach Us About Wealth?

November 26th, 2007

Recently I read an outstanding book by John Muratori called Rich Church Poor Church addressing the issue of money and Christianity, why the wicked prosper (and so many Christians don’t) along with twelve laws of wealth building that will help anyone get ahead in this world. (We will be offering a FREE copy of that book to our subscribers shortly in a special Christmas offer so be watching for details in early December.) I was so moved by what I read and thought it would be so helpful to our community of Christians in the business arena that I asked John to write our blogs for the next few sessions so you could get a taste of what I have partaken. Drink deeply and please pass on your comments…

“Jesus said, it is easier for a camel to fit through a pinhole than for a rich man to get into heaven.”

Most of these positions were birthed during the Puritan movement, where financial prosperity was viewed as a hindrance to spirituality. However, proper biblical interpretation reveals that there are two sides of the same coin. For years the church has been unable to reconcile spirituality with prosperity. How does one run after God, yet still be wealthy?
