“And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moves upon the earth.” Gen 1:28
OK. The basic business model is laid out in four parts…
- Be fruitful: Create a self-replicable product or service of high quality and value.
- Multiply: Create the systems necessary to efficiently and effectively recreate that model in multiple markets.
- Fill the earth: Develop effective and reliable methods of distributorship. This should involve symbiotic and mutualistic relationships.
- Subdue it: Dominate your market. Control the sphere in which you do business. Lead. Set your vision to be the head and not the tail in the markets you are in.
Now, here’s the bonus lesson. It’s actually in three parts. After God tells Adam and Eve to be fruitful and multiply, fill the earth and subdue it, He adds the idea of having dominion over three other areas. I do believe we are to take that text literally. However, I am also looking for an application to help me succeed in the first four steps.
Consider this… Have dominion over the fish. I believe fish which are in the deep places can be a picture of our deeper, lower nature which we are to have dominion over. This would include appetites of all kinds which are very real and must always be held in subjugation lest we throw our lives away or become ineffective due to poor health.
Consider well the words of Jacob on his death bed when he called his sons together to speak a blessing over them. When he came to Reuben, he said, “Reuben, you are my firstborn, my might, and the beginning of my strength, the excellency of dignity, and the excellency of power: Unstable as water, you shall not excel; because you went up to your father’s bed; then you defiled it: he went up to my couch.” Jacob had great hopes for his firstborn, but because of Reuben’s lack of control over his lower nature (Gen 35:22) he would never amount to anything. Selah.

“Every branch in me that bears not fruit he takes away: and every branch that bears fruit, he prunes it, that it may bring forth more fruit.” John 15:2
Fruitfulness. It matters to God. It matters to me. It should matter to all of us. There are many ways a life can be fruitful but for those of us called into the business arena, we understand fruitfulness as the ability to create value both for ourselves and in the lives of others.
One of the most fruitful persons I know is Debra Thompson Roedl. Debra is recognized internationally in the “Information Marketer’s” industry as one of the top marketing strategist for high-profile Information Marketers. She has been behind the scenes increasing fruitfulness for such millionaires as Armand Morin, Mark Victor Hansen (Chicken Soup For The Soul), Matt Bacak, John Dessauer, Vickie Sullivan, Ted Thomas and as CEO for John Childers’, Wealth Academy, and she has worked with Libby Gill (Expert and Marketing Strategist that Launched Dr. Phil).
It has taken months to secure…
But tonight it’s our turn for Debra to help all of us increase our fruitfulness. Debra has a tender heart for the Lord and a business acumen that is the envy of many. In fact, over the past several years Debra has built several million dollar businesses for others and tonight she is making herself available to you on a teleseminar that will have an open ended timeframe to answer all your questions as she endeavors to take your fruitfulness to the next level. By way of example, consider the following…
- She created John Dessauer’s Information Business, The Dessauer Group with his signature product “Making Millions in Multi-Units” from the ground up, which generated over $600,000 in the first 5 months of operation and now today is a multi-million dollar information business.
- As the former CEO for John Childer’s Wealth Academy she took John’s business to the next million dollar level building up his Million Dollar Speaker Training, putting branding, products, websites, services and systems into place for his international multi-million dollar organization and trainings.
- Serving as a Special Consultant to Mark Victor Hansen, Debra created a high-end membership program and products for Mark to sell to his list. The program was then launched by Mark Victor Hansen and Robert Allen and within 2 hours of launching it generated over $400,000!
- Debra worked with Troy Fullwood as a special consultant to develop and put into action his seminar and speaking business. Troy has gone on now to speak at venues across the country and in front of audiences of more than 1000 people, selling his information product on the ABC’s of Notes.
Replicating Fruitfulness in One Million-Dollar Enterprise After Another…
Today, Debra continues to build her own Information Marketing Enterprise… Wealth Alliance Group along with her partners, her husband Randy Roedl and her brother Robin Thompson. Together they have created Accelerator Systems, a specific product line of “How To Products” sold world-wide to Information Marketers wanting to turn their ideas into wealth! She continues to offer her consulting services to business entrepreneurs world-wide and has become a top secret marketing weapon that they have added to their business arsenal to “sky rocket” their business.
I tell you all this because I know many of you really need and want the kind of information Debra will be sharing with us in tonight’s webinar at 9:00 pm EDT. I know this because you’ve told us that in our recent survey. But even more than that, I am urging you to join us tonight because God wants us fruitful and Debra is an expert at making businesses fruitful.
We reserved a block of 400 phone lines but they were snapped up last week. We ordered another block of 400 lines and already half of them have been spoken for. “Thus says the LORD to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have held, to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the armor of kings, to open before him the two-leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut; I will go before you, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of bronze, and cut asunder the bars of iron: And I will give you the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that you may know that I, the LORD, who call you by your name, am the God of Israel.” (Isa 45:1-3)
Did you know that God has riches hidden in secret places? And these are riches He is eager for you to possess. Am I saying that God wants you rich? I don’t know what God wants for you with respect to tangible riches. I don’t know your character, your calling or your capabilities. What I do know is that there are great riches hidden in secret places and the kind of riches I am speaking of cannot be seen with the eye.
Take for example the rainforest. People with limited vision see only with their natural eye and cut it down to obtain temporal, tangible riches. They sell the timber and create pasture land for cows. But people with great vision who have spent time in the secret place of God know that God made the systems that make the rainforest the most productive and fruitful system on the planet producing tremendous abundance out of relative scarcity.
In spending time with the Father, they learn the systems. They discover the ways of God. They obtain great wealth of wisdom as they inherit His heart for the created order and in the process they can be trusted with the power that wisdom gives them. It is the unseen riches that produce the visible riches. Most folks chase the visible, corruptible, temporal riches. Wise ones chase the unseen eternal riches and in apprehending them, have everything else they need.

I am wrapping up my four part series on personal productivity as modeled by the rainforest. In the previous three sessions, we discussed the importance of Eliminating the Unnecessary, Automating the Mundane and Delegating the Tactical. Now I want to get to your core competency as the CEO of your life. What are you the very best at? What gives you remarkable fulfillment? This is what you really want to do, free from the time wasters and time consumers that have plagued your life. It’s where you soar at the stratospheric level like an eagle overseeing the fields and forests, planning the next move from a place of strategic advantage.
In the rainforest, plants have certain designated responsibilities that only they can fulfill. They are wired or created to fulfill those roles and everything about their DNA beckons them to fulfill their primary purpose. The fourth law, therefore, is to Designate. By that I mean, designate your time, your resources, your heart, your mind, your strength to that thing you have burning in your heart, but as much as possible, do it at a strategic level.

The Tabernacle of Moses reveals three distinct levels of Christian living and those three levels are easily relatable to business. Cooperating with them and knowing how to flow with each level will dramatically impact your business.
The Outer Court is Level 1 and is about practices. It is the place where character and competence are formed. It is the place of preparation. It’s about functioning based on what you see, what you observe, what you can grasp based on your own acquired skills. I call it the place of the 30-fold increase. We have spoken a lot lately about outer court concepts. They include processes, systems, common sense practices and they are essential. Most people never progress past this level.
The Inner Court is Level 2 and is about principles. It is the place of strategy, where God opens His Word and by His Spirit reveals His Way of doing things. These are not natural strategies deduced with natural wisdom, but rather God inspired strategies derived from Godly wisdom. (See James 3:17 for details). Think 60-fold increase.
The Holy of Holies is the third level. It is about the POWER of God working on your behalf to accomplish what you could never do on your own, with any amount of wisdom. Accessing this power is possible, but it is not a game, nor is it something to be taken lightly. Think 100-fold increase. We need to operate on all three levels. Stay tuned as we develop this a little further during the week.
By the way, in case you missed it, we have offered the CDs of our seven-hour teaching with PowerPoint on this subject for FREE to the first 500 folks who download the series called, The RainCatcher’s Secret: 7 Ancient Paths to Wealth, Wisdom and the Wonder of God. Beat the rush. On Friday that offer goes out to hundreds of thousands of folks. Click here for details.

Last week, we pointed out that rainforests have a job. They are the lungs of the planet, exchanging Oxygen for Carbon Dioxide and sustaining life on this planet. We can’t afford for the rainforest to be inefficient, to fall down on the job or to be ineffective. Fortunately, we do not have to worry about the rainforest defaulting (as long as we don’t cut it all down), because it operates by a series of laws or processes that make it very efficient.
When we understand what makes the rainforest efficient, we can apply those same principles to our lives and garner similar results. Last week, we talked about the first law of productivity… Eliminate the Unnecessary. Today, I want to talk about the second law… Automate the Mundane. In short, systemize those things that must be done routinely and in a precise way.
